I'm white and the thing about my race is that I dislike how much of a swaggering dick the history of my race is and still is.

    Well there are two sides:

Everyone asks if Godzilla is real.
Can I fix their cell phone.
    Am I good in math?
    All I eat is sushi?

    oooorrrr
    Am I ghetto?
    Are we always on welfare?
Am I the same as Dominicans?
All we do is drink rum, listen to salsa music and eat pork chops?

    It's all so annoying.

Like most of the people that have commented here, I dislike the stereotypes. I'm Mexican. My parents are Mexican, my grandparents are Mexican, my great grandparents are Mexican; as far as I know there's like 2 or 3 people in our family who are from Spain, so most of us are mestizos.

The stereotypes we get are usually that of criminals, lazy people, the fucking sombreros and tacos bullshit, and that we're discriminated because we're Mexican, especially for illegal immigrants, when we're in the U.S., especially when people use the horrible word of wetbacks. It fucking irks me to no end because these people come here because a) they're looking to better themselves and their family through HARD FUCKING WORK, b) some of these people are victims of violence that are fleeing from our country, c) some of us actually have papers.

I know I should embrace it, and I do, but I wish I didn't have my Spanish curves so much. It makes it hard to find jeans that fit :P and the fact that we tend to get what is called "chicken skin" which is bumps that look like they have tiny whiteheads on them. It's gross, annoying, and unfortunately hard to get rid of.

I'm mixed with white, black, and hispanic, so I've never really encountered any racism towards me :P my name does not fit my ethnicity nor do I look like a specific one, so I kind of like being a mystery to people.

Well, I'm pretty much a Heinz 5 of Europe/Eurasia plus Native American. I am German, and Russian. People always assume that I'm a perfect model of a stereotypical German or Russian. That's the one thing I hate.

People tend to mistake Sri-Lankans for Indians and vice versa. I'm Sri-Lankan, and it irks me when people mistake me for an Indian. I know that it's an honest mistake since we are very similar in look, but the way I differentiate the two is that Indians are darker and have a thicker accent than Sri-Lankans. Of course, this doesn't apply to everyone but it's how I've noticed the difference around where I live XD

I think I hate my ethnicity since historically, it has been toxic and continues to be pretty toxic to other ethnicities. :/ also that I feel that no matter what I do, I am contributing to that toxicity and it's another thing to flagellate myself with.

I'm a total Ukrainian girl, and I've had a few people tell me my eyes are Ukrainian-looking. A) What? I was not aware my eyes were Ukrainian haha and B) Is it a bad thing?

Idk, I've just been self conscious about my eyes since these people said it, it's happened on several, several occasions.

I was born in Portugal but I'm half Spanish and I hate the rivalry between Portuguese people and Spanish people. It doesn't make sense that two countries hate each other for what happened centuries ago -shrugs-

I'm Vietnamese American and what I dislike about my ethnicity is the ignorant comments about it. Lighthearted jokes and pokes at the stereotypes are oddly okay for me, but when people say something that is obviously stemmed from their own ignorance, it's so annoying!

No, I do not know what 'Ching-Chong' means. Rubbish people. And, oh gosh, the popular question: Are you Chinese?

I don't really dislike any part of my ethnicity, I more or less disliking being so many things that none of them appear very significant.

I'm Finnish, Swedish, German, Irish, Scottish, English and Norwegian... at most I'm a quarter of something, but mainly eigths and sixteenths, so I don't feel I can genuinely "identify" with my heritage... which leaves me with America, the culture of which seems to revolve around consumerism, status symbols, celebrity worship, and guns...
Okay, that's not ALL we're about, but god, it feels like it some times!

I look pretty Irish (red hair, green-blue-grey eyes, pale skin, freckles) so that's generally what gets attention... but everyone wants to be Irish in America so... geh.

Being German, there's a lot of Nazi jokes.
Being Irish, there's a lot of alcohol jokes.
Being white in general... we have a history of being douchebags.

German; while I love my dark eye circles most of the time, mixed with English skin and a bad night's sleep and / or stress, I look like I've been given wonderful black eyes.
Also speaking of English skin, the fact that I burn easily and never tan.

I mostly identify as Australian though; there's not much I dislike about us or the stereotypes. Although the new ad for a burger with "avo" is pushing it.

I'm Filipino and one thing that always bothered me about my heritage is how some people can be pretty cocky.
Like yeah, I'm happy that my race has so much pride but sometimes people take it too far and think they're so high and mighty and better than all the other races. I'm proud and always will be, but I don't think being Filipino automatically makes me better than everyone else.
