I'm Choctaw (Native American) as well as I have traced to Blackfoot and Cherokee. Of course I'm also white and I'm not even going to touch the mix of what, it'll probably just seem tacky. That's one thing I dislike, being European usually means a mix of a bunch of things and even though each has different traditions and stuff, it comes off as tacky to specify what roots.

On being mixed: another thing I hate is my hair. Even though I am Native I didn't get the gift of minimal body hair... But because I am Native all of my hair is thick! I love having thick hair, but I wish sometimes that my legs/arms didn't have so much hair. I'm also envious of African American hair. It's just so curly and beautiful, you know? My hair is so black and straight.

Like a majority of y'all, hate me some stereotypes. Facepalm

I was always so hesitant to answer people when they ask me, "So what are you?" because after I knew that after I responded, I became a terrorist or a hoe. My other half was automatically wiped out and I get got to hear the loveliest of jokes. Oh, how hilarious they are were. That or I was just a "light-skinned bitch," and I get got to hear the most amazing array of light-skinned bitch quips. Now, I like to think I have a bit of a thicker skin when it comes to that kind've stuff, so these things don't hurt as much, if at all most of the time, but I can't say they're not extremely annoying. Grr

The one thing that I hate, is that I'm not accepted into either the Black community nor the Mexican nor Irish. I'm 'not black enough' to be black I guess... Sad

What's really great is being told, "Nope, sorry, you're just white" or being told not to "make up an ethnicity to be more 'interesting'". News flash, just because you've never heard of Lithuania does not mean it doesn't exist. You are not the solipsist, ergo things that you don't know about do not magically not exist.
