it's a secret hobby of mine. I don't really show them to people because they end up asking me to make one for them. And I've never put them up on the internet because I've always been afraid someone would steal them for like a myspace background or something.

does anyone else do this? I love making collages out of anything possible. Newspaper, cloth, buttons, etc. I don't like to use anything bigger than standard sized printing paper (so far) because I don't ever have enough materials/ideas for the size of a large poster.

    here's a few of mine:

I can't be the only one, haha.

Yours are really good :) I do some myself, but they aren't exactly collages. I start out by drawing something boring, like a portrait or something. And then I just start adding things. For example, a Kurt Cobain portrait, I cut a suit out of a magasine and "dressed" him into it, than I cut a heart-shaped chocolatiere (Heart-Shaped Box, y'know) out of newspaper, and stuck it, than I cut a heart out of newspaper and stuck it over, than I used some red watercolor to paint over it (not much, just a little) and wrote "tum tumtum tum tumtum" all over it. Than I cut two headlights and stuck them above his head and in the end I wrote "dressed to succes" on top and "but succes does not fit in your heart-shaped box" in tiny, tiny writing right on the bottom.

Okay, I did a really detaild description now, but allright. I was just trying to say, that I don't do pure COLLAGES.

But yours are, like I said, awesome.

I love the second collage you posted, it's very creative and nicely done.
Though I'm not very good with photoshop; I try to get creative with collages every now and then. I like to make fashion collages online on this site; http://www.polyvore.com/
It's really alot of fun but I'm not too good at it unfortunaly.

I want to make collages out of the fifty (at least) magazines I have, but I have no glue or cardboard. Sad day. I've made a couple online though.

I like making collages out of personal photos. I've tried making ones out of magazines as an art project but as much fun as it is it is very tedious to me!
