  • I kind of want a hater. lmfao I just want somebody to come in and totally rips on every message that comes across in my stories and says shit about all my characters and calls me immoral.
Especially if they bring up religion.
That would make my day. XD

  • I want to know why they subscribe, or why they don't. I've already got five subscribers on my newest story, twenty-six readers, but why?

  • ^ That's something I always want to know, especially when someone comments. They only say "Loved it!" or "Update soon!!!!!11!!". But I want to know why they loved it.

Plus with my latest drabbles, the commenters loved them because they were well-written and awesome but I want to know what made them awesome. And I understand that they're a bit confusing but I want to know what the reader thought when they were reading it, and if they were confused, then which part confused them?

  • I'd like them to tell me what I could do better. But the tricky thing about me is I like things explained. I don't want to hear just some vague complaint. Anyone can look at something and say "oh that could be better." It's the knowing how or why it could be better that gives it meaning. When I give feedback, if I point out anything I didn't like, I tell people why, and how they can fix it. Otherwise, it won't help them.

I would also like them to tell me at which point they lose interest in the story and why they unsubscribe. Usually I can tell, like if I kill a character and people unsub, well there's the answer. Or if I put in a shocking scene and lose subs, then that's why. But sometimes I'm just doing what I've been doing, and as soon as I update, lose subscribers. I wonder "What about that update didn't pass muster?" People don't tell you, so you never know.

Personally, I unsub from stories when things are getting annoyingly redundant, the plot is skipping all over the place, the grammar/quality of writing has gone downhill, or the characters and situations are no longer believable. If those things are happening in my stories, I'd like my readers to tell me.

I keep waiting for those kinds of comments on my OF, 'cuz I kind of rip on religion... a lot xD and the government Shifty
I agree, that would kind of make my day.

I also really want a comment like, "Please, just kill so-and-so. They're an evil bastard, they deserve it."
I've been expecting comments like these about Lance in ATSOHP for AGES and haven't gotten one... although someone asked if he could please be redeemed in the end xD They're going to be a bit dissapointed... [/totallydidn'tjustgiveawayhugeplotpointxD]

    This to a tee.

Although I have one story that is decently popular - which is finished now - that lost a couple subscribers near the end chapters. Though to be fair, the story was a veritable roller coaster of twists and cliffhangers.

  • I just wish my readers would say something.

I don't have very many readers. Fifty readers for four chapters seems a little low, in my opinion, but I could be wrong.

I'd love it if they told me things I could do better, or things I'm doing right, or mistakes I've made. Right now it seems to me like my readers don't have a voice.

  • "I felt it."

(And some of them do. It's just... I think it is the highest honor a writer can receive, to know they made the person feel.)

  • That they love my characters (almost) as much as I do lmfao

  • I would like it if they told me what was shit. XD

And also nice comments too, haha. I like it when people compliment my characters, because I love them to bits. tehe

  • Crit would be nice. Although if I want crit I just go submit my story to the Story Review Threas.

Or just comments telling me what they think of my story, whether they like the characters, favourite lines.

Sometimes I like to ask questions in my author's note so I can get an answer out of the people.

  • If they don't understand something just give an example, I can't help my readers if they don't tell me what they don't get.

This. I hate when they just say something like, "You have some trouble with run-ons." Tell me where so I can fix them!

    Fangirls are nice tehe

I sometimes wonder if my readers even read my story to begin with. Some ask obvious questions that if they read they would have known. I don't know what it is, but maybe slow down and not speed through a story...or I don't know just actually read it.
