If you have any writing prompts you'd like to share (but don't wish to create a "contest" based on them), you can post here.

If you write a story based on a prompt you find here, you can quote the person who left the prompt and then provide us with a link to your story. Very Happy

    Have at it!

This is a good idea. I'll definitely be posting some unused story ideas here.

Oh, this is really cool. I was just searching for prompts, believe it or not. I think I'll be visiting this thread quite a lot.

Although when people make the prompt just one word, it tends to annoy me XD So I'll be looking for the two- or three-word ones and using those. Hopefully my brain will decide to come up with prompts as well XD

    Prompt example. :

Take the words "I'm Leaving." And turn it into a story.
The first line should be I'm Leaving. It must be dialogue.
It cannot be between a romantically involved couple.
Describe why the character is leaving.
Describe the relationship between the two characters.

I wasn't going to do one tonight but for some reason a story popped into my head, so I shall edit this post in about half an hour when I'm finished with this :)

What's this? First prompt story? Yes, pl0x.

    New Prompt.

    Scenery. Cemetary.
The couple there are not dating.
But they could be in love.
They could be having an affair.
    Be creative.

    The last sentence should be.
    I should've known.
Whether it be dialogue or narrative is your choice.

It's okay. This thread isn't really about claiming prompts. It's just so that we can post them and members can use it as they need it.

Also, keep in mind that prompts here could end up in Mibba magazine, if myself and my partner for the writing prompts decide to use it.

Wow. I love this thread. [x
I'm always looking for prompts, and I hate entering contests for them because I'm bad with deadlines. d:
So, yes. I'll probably be checking on this thread often. [:

Where were you when I needed you? You said you'd always care. But what happened to those feelings? Are they no longer there? I want a nice, heart-wrenching story. Keep up with the emotion throughout the entire story.
