If you have any writing prompts you'd like to share (but don't wish to create a "contest" based on them), you can post here.

If you write a story based on a prompt you find here, you can quote the person who left the prompt and then provide us with a link to your story.

This is a good idea. I'll definitely be posting some unused story ideas here.

I'm kind of confused about this...I'm slow, I apologize.

Oh, this is really cool. I was just searching for prompts, believe it or not. I think I'll be visiting this thread quite a lot.

Although when people make the prompt just one word, it tends to annoy me XD So I'll be looking for the two- or three-word ones and using those. Hopefully my brain will decide to come up with prompts as well XD

Prompt example. :

Take the words "I'm Leaving." And turn it into a story.
The first line should be I'm Leaving. It must be dialogue.
It cannot be between a romantically involved couple.
Describe why the character is leaving.
Describe the relationship between the two characters.

I wasn't going to do one tonight but for some reason a story popped into my head, so I shall edit this post in about half an hour when I'm finished with this :)

Where were you when I needed you? You said you'd always care. But what happened to those feelings? Are they no longer there? I want a nice, heart-wrenching story. Keep up with the emotion throughout the entire story.
