My first is a bit lame. Cierra. Just like Sierra, Ciara, whatever. It's mainly the "C" that bothers me. If it were Sierra, I'd like it more.

& my middle name is Nicole. which, is really common and so I don't like that. My parents almost spelled it Nichole, and I wish they did.
So, to everyone, I'm Nikki. ._.

    could be a lot better.
I wish it were more ~unique. but I don't like when people go all, "Nickeyy" or whatever in their crazy ways to spell it, so. I'll deal. :']

    My name is Maria.
I don't like it; it's used often and for some reason, people sometimes call me Mary.
But my nickname is Coco; which is what my brother started calling me.
I love my nickname. In Love

I have other nicknames too and my family calls me it; Kenita.
I like that one too; only it isn't the same thing as Kenya!
I don't know why they call me that :/

I would finally like to put this down in writing somewhere so people don't have to ask. Very Happy

My birth name is Jon (not short for anything). My mother preferred the name Jack, a 'pet form' of the name Jon, which I assume she also believed was 'cuter', so everyone calls me Jack. However, my middle name is Steven(?!) Shocked

Therefore, I introduce myself as Jack, and I like this name a lot more than Jon (no 'h' as you can see), which I have come to dislike due to meeting other 'Jons' that gave the name bad press.

Unfortunately, after about 5 minutes with anyone new, conversation descends into addressing me as every name under the sun beginning with 'J' - Jon Jack Jackie Jacqueline Jackanory Jacharias... the list goes on and on!! Rolling Eyes

Anyone else have their first names replaced in such odd fashion?

(If you can't tell I dislike my name a lot-but my mom named me after an egg...so that kinda takes some of the lame away)

My name is Kelley. I like that it's spelled with an ey, but basically dislike my name.
People pronounce it like Keely (Key-Lee) Thumb down
People spell it Kelly or Kellie.
And I've even had a teacher ask me why my name is spelled Kelley and when I told him it was my mother's maiden name he gave me a weird look and said "So your mom named you her last name?" Grr

    Emily.

I hate it. It's insanely common, people say it's pretty, but when so many people you know share the same name as you it kind of destroys the meaning.

I was called Jessica for about three days after I was born, even that's common where I live.

My parents considered Scarlet, Isabella, Madeleine and Rose... so I get stuck with Emily. I love those four other names, and I get stuck with the worst one.

My name's Renée Very Happy it means reborn. I don't have any second name so I'm kind of stuck with that. It's not really common, but I know at least three or four girls who have the same name Very Happy I'm supposed to be named Ysabel though.
I like my name, but it just gets a bit annoying when some people mispronounce or misspell it. Sometimes, people pronounce it as "Re-ni" or "Ree-ne" OMG NO!

I'm Lexie. I like my name; I'm named after my great-great-uncle, who was in WWII I believe. It's not short for anything, it's just Lexie. My middle name is Louise, so my parents call me Lexie Lou, which I think is cute.

I never really say my real name, but it's extremely common, which is why I hate it.

I just go by nick-names usually.
Lately, I go by Ash [has nothing to do with my real name though].
I just like that though. Kinda like Ash from 'The Crow City Of Angels'. ;]

    My name is Ingrid Helene.
I guess it's okay, I don't hate it. But I don't like that I can't pronounce it properly without sounding stupid if I'm going to speak English. It doesn't sound right in any other language that Norwegian, and then preferably my own accent. x)
I generally go by just Ingrid, but some people know me as Raimy.

a gazillion nicknames 'cause of it. xD

Oh and if any of you are curious.
You pronounce it like, [Lah-reet-zah]. tehe
