Unless you're from somewhere that's re-running it or a week behind, it's not on tomorrow. The season finale was last week. There's a Halloween special next month, then the show will probably come back for a winter season some time in January like most shows on ABC Family.

AS IF THIS HASN'T BEEN UPDATED FOR A YEAR WHAT WHAT

Did anyone find the latest episode (ep 18) lackluster? I know they're probably setting up stuff but come on. Although I was glad Emily finally realised that the girl in red was the one in charge. I reckon it's Cece or Alison's twin, idk who else it could be. Thoughts?

lmfao I'm watching PLL with my boyfriend this is awesome.

I do wish the show didn't drag on so much. I understand that suspense gets da viewers~ but I'd like things to happen and information to be filled in so it was easier to make connections. >< But it takes until a season final for anything of ultimate importance to be revealed.

    Me tooo. ;c
Lucy Hale is so gorgeous, I think there must be some kind of universal balance disrupted because of her.
    -

I'm re-reading the book series, and I realize how much I prefer it to the show. Cheese Have any of you guys read the books? I feel they do a better job of showing the comparison of the girls post-Ali to how they acted when she was their "leader."

In the show, it seems like the writers are trying to preserve the girls' likability by making them more independent and morally competent. Even in the flashbacks, one of them will scold Ali for a snarky/mean comment. But in the books, they are totally submissive to her. They are insecure about themselves, don't feel like they have a right to be independent and opinionated, and it's Ali that gives them confidence. So they might indirectly challenge her, but they don't outright defy her like they do in the show. It also makes it more important to see how much they grow after Ali goes missing, because suddenly they depend only on themselves and can be much more comfortable with their own decisions.

Think I just like that part about the books better.

Whoa, this hasn't been updated in almost a year. That's crazy.

Anyway, does anyone on here still watch the show? I'd love someone to discuss it with.

My favorite character is Spencer and my dream story arc is a Melissa/Wren/Jason super group who combine for whatever reason.

Bringing this back for the season finale. Cute

Anyway, on to the spoilers (in white) and why I'm furious:
WAS THIS THING WITH KILLING OFF MONA IN THE BOOKS TOO BECAUSE THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT OK. I was really starting to like and root for Mona; sure, she's done some things, but clearly there's something very, very wrong with Ali's mind like no you don't just go killing people alright. And Mona was just starting to become likable! Working with the girls and helping attempt to prove Spencer's innocent is a big check, in my book.

AND THEN THEY FREAKING KILL HER OFF. EXCUSE YOU THAT IS NOT OKAY. Although maybe I'm getting too involved with this show, but I digress. NOT. OKAY.

    [/rant]

I was pretty confused this episode, I didn't recognize that cop, whatever-his-face-is. The creepy one? XD And I don't know, but the producers just kind of ripped out my heart with this finale.

(It'll probably be a little weird given that there'll be a Halloween special and in Rosewood, they've just passed Thanksgiving. Shifty Was that a spoiler? I hope not.)

I can't remember his name either, but you think he's creepy? Cheese Perhaps it's my attraction towards him, but I didn't find him creepy until he questioned Aria while at Radley.

UGH, THE FINALE. DON'T GET ME STARTED ON IT. I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS AND I KNOW THAT THEY'LL PROBABLY NEVER BE ANSWERED.

Can we just find out who A is and get answers already? We'll be at Pretty Little Liars season 78 if this continues to keep up! Also another thing: Didn't the girls start Senior year three seasons ago? Shocked

Season finale confused me more than anything. They will bring back characters and then I'm like who are they? I still don't think I've figured that out. I also want to know how the Halloween episode will fit in unless they plan on making it out of order. I just wish they would stop dragging out the story. Every time you find out who 'A' is it is someone else a few episodes later. And the show is getting 2 more seasons if I remember correctly. Hopefully they tell soon.

They're actually not doing a Halloween episode this year, instead they're doing a Christmas episode. At least, that's what I heard. I could totally be wrong.

I agree with the dragging it out. Maybe if the girls weren't still in high school it would be okay with me, but just the fact that they've been Seniors for three seasons is a bit ridiculous.

I have my own speculations as to who A is. I, personally, think it's Wren who is Head A. File Him, or Hanna's father. We don't know much about either of them. Maybe there's a reason for that.

I actually wondered if they were maybe doing a Christmas episode, but it's usually Halloween.

Seriously though, they drag it out way too much. They've been seniors for 3 seasons?! I don't even have a clue anymore to anything school involved with them. I will miss episodes sometimes and not care to see what happens since it's usually the same. I will watch bits and pieces of the episode the next week before the new episode and sometimes be glad that I missed it.

I actually looked up to see who A was in the books a few years ago. I'm actually beginning to think it's true now, but then again nothing really stay 100% same when it's turned into a movie/show. What I don't understand is how no adults notice what's going on when this has been going on for years. Sometimes I think it's one of Spencer's parents who is A (probably her dad). Then again Ali could be A with her mind games and stuff.

Oh, I just saw a teaser on twitter last night. XD They're doing a Halloween episode and a Christmas episode, I believe. At least, that's what twitter said. File

I mean, the show is fun to watch, yes, but at times you get to a point where you're so annoyed with how long it's taking. Granted, they're teenagers in high school, so while they could be smart they're not that smart, but c'mon now! When A starts killing off people that get too close, it's so infuriating.

The writers of the show has said that they're not doing the twin thing, however, they never stated that they were doing the twin thing with Ali. I think the twin could be CeCe's, especially since the twin couldn't be the same age as the girls. See, I'm sure there are adults that have noticed! I don't think the show ever shows it though, which is really annoying. At least Hanna's mom was aware that *spoilers* Ali was alive the whole time, so I give props to that. And this new police officer/detective woman (whom I actually really like, no matter how shady she seems!) is actually trying to get pieces of the case solved. She's done more than Wilden and Garret combined, and she's just been there for a season!

Oi, I read too many posts on the pll theories tag on tumblr. XD

The detective woman seems really shady. I have a feeling she knows stuff that they don't know, but it trying to figure out what it is they do know. It's creepy how they are always watched. And then I find it stupid when they do something as if A wasn't watching them. I also sometimes wonder how many of the adults actually know what's going on. There are times where it seems like the whole town is in on it, but the four girls.

She does, but I like her! She's honestly looking out for the girls, even if it doesn't seem like it. Cute I have faith in her, at least. I hope that in the end she's proven to be one of the better heroes.

Yeah, if I was in their situation, no matter what consequences, I definitely would've told the police by now! Granted the police are actually terrible at their job in this show (if you don't count this new woman and Mr. Hottie Pants), but still, I wouldn't have kept it to myself to deal with. A is a serious threat.

I think any normal person would tell the police. As soon as I got the first text I would have. The police are terrible. I hope Toby can help though. I hope Ezra and Caleb can too. Speaking of Caleb, his hair, I miss it.

Are you saying that these girls aren't normal? I never would've guessed, oh my goodness! Shifty Yeah, hopefully Toby will help at least! Although I don't think A would be too pleased with him trying to, something might happen to him. Cheese

Ah, Caleb's hair! It is such a travesty, I thought he looked much better with it longer. He's still a cutie-patootie, but... the longer hair. I want it back.

Lol yup. they are far from normal xD. I know it's a show, but couldn't they make it a little more realistic? Well he already got hit by a car (in a way) and it was Spencer's fault. Speaking of which, what will happen to her?!

I also know they won't kill off Caleb, Toby, and Ezra, otherwise they would be dead by now xD. And yes, his hair was much better when it was longer. When I first saw him this season I was like 'what happened to your hair man?!' Did he actually get it cut in Ravenswood? I didn't see the last few episodes of it. They sort of have another story line going on with him since he was in Ravenswood. It kind of drifts off from the PLL story line.
