No problem. That's just my own story, though. I know I've put a lot of people in pain because of my own indecisiveness and there's no point in not owning up to it.

I do think pans people get the short end of the stick sometimes, though. We get a lot of shit from gay and straight people because we're "on the fence" but I've also gotten hate from bi people too because according to them pans was just a thing invented to escape the stigma bis faced in the LGBTQ and hetero communities.

That being said, I totally do understand were your coming from in the relationship side of things, because of where I've been. I never meant to hurt anybody but it just sort of happens and you don't realize until the relationship has failed and you're left there on your own. Sometimes feelings get away from you and you don't even realize what you're doing to the other person in the relationship. So I totally understand why you would be weary, but I hope that doesn't swear you of pans or bi people forever because it can happen to anybody, even hetero people.

Do you mean like a conversion clinic?
Is anyone else planning to go to an equality rally/march tomorrow? I'm planning to go to the San Francisco one and I'm hoping my step-dad will agree to come with me. I want him to understand this whole thing more and I know if anyone can make him understand, it'll be this city. My mom could use some education too but I know she'd never agree to attend a protest with me. I'm really hoping he'll agree to get something to eat with me so we can have a small heart to heart conversation about my sexuality and LGBTQ rights in general. If you guys want to, this site has a map with all of the cities doing an equality rally/march for Monday. It's all being done on Monday because it's the eve of the Supreme Court trials for Prop 8 and DOMA.

I know the San Francisco one is expecting hundreds of people to come out in support and it kind of makes me nervous, I've only ever been to small rallies for LGBTQ rights, never large ones like that. And with possibility bringing my stepdad with me, I really don't know how it's going to go.

Ooooh. I see. One of those "pray away the gay" places. I've never been to one, thankfully, or been threatened with being sent to one.

yeah. i get what you're saying, i didn't mean to say it was a phase.
i've given up on labelling myself. i like girls but am keeping my options open despite having no attraction to guys other than thinking 'oh he's cute' but nothing more. idk, once im sure about it then something just makes me not so sure.

I see now. I've never been sent to one, though my grandfather has told me in the past if I ever "turn gay" that he'll force me into one of those. It's one of the many reasons I'm not out to him or a majority of my "family".

Hi everyone. Just found this thread and I'm all excited about it.
I'm an out and proud lesbian and my community happens to be very very accepting. My high school included having out lesbian, bisexual, gay and trans teachers as well as students <3 Hope to make new friends. I'm all inclusive btw. Much love and respect for everyone's identity.

hello, I'm Nikki. I am pansexual and I come from a small town in Michigan where not many people are very accepting. I always knew that I liked girls (guys too), but I never really admitted it until I was 17. Though in my 5th year of elementary school, a group of "friends" who stayed over for my birthday have questioned my sexuality and made fun of me, but I was completely oblivious back then. When I came out to my parents, they asked me uncomfortable questions, and now they think I'll end up with a man. The first person I came out to was my creative writing teacher back in 11th grade, and she was very supportive and nice about it. I was told not to come out to anyone by my dad, but I have done so on the internet way before I came out to my parents.

Hey'al (Sorry, terrible habit I picked up from Eddie Rice camps -_-)
I'm Devyn, I'm Bigender and associate as being pansexual.
For me, I simply don't know how to tell my parents things like this - I hid sexual abuse from them for seven years, and any conversation about gender and sexuality is going to relate back to that, unfortunately.
I find that sexuality isn't really a big thing for me - I mean, I'm a guy, a girl and a trans all in one, so there's really no need for me to be picky about gender, hey?
The only thing that I find to suck about being Bigender is that's it's hard to explain to people that you want to be both (Someone asked me 'do you have a dick and boobs then?'), and I also get extreme dysphoria some days.

The Day of Silence is this Friday, April 19th!

My GSMA (Gender + Sexual Minorities and Allies) is organizing an event for it. Is anyone else planning on participating?

Hi everybody. :) For those who don't know me I'm Victor, I'm transgender (FtM) and bisexual.

I've decided it's time to stop being such a bitch about change and figure out the sites new format! Because mibba is awesome and I miss all of y'all and not being tech savy isn't a good enough reason to shy away.

So I've had some interesting stuff going on. I started dating someone, a guy, awesome person but we didn't really have that chemistry. So we've decided just to be friends. I'm really glad, because I felt bad about it cus he really liked me, but it's best to be honest and he's a fun person that I'm happy is able to still be in my life. Even though it didn't work out it was great being with someone again, because it's been like 2yrs since I've actually been in a real relationship and dating someone got me all excited and no I'm more confident and I kind of know better what I'm looking for. :)

Im trans, i guess. Born a female, hate being called a female. I used to consider myself genderless, but I don't know. I'm something. Just not a girl.

My sexuality is just as confusing! I like guys' personalities, but nothing else. I hate females' personalities. But I'm attracted to them physically. I can occasionally be emotionally attracted to a female, but not usually.

    I'm also polyamorous, I think.

i just want to be simple.

Hey! im alex. Im 16, live in Illinois, and im very much a lesbian.

my community as a whole isn't very accepting of it because like 50% of the area is apostolic christen, and are very much against it. but there are also quite a few people that strongly support it if you know where to look. me and a couple of my friends did the day of silence this year and there were some not very happy people at school. but it is what it is
