- brand new hope.:
- i also am tired of Rihanna's music, because again. Her voice really annoys me, and though she was mainstream before, I think the main reason why she is hailed as "the best pop/r&b artist ever~" and gets played on the radio every 5 minutes is because Chris Brown beat her.
Ohdear.

I find this really offensive for some reason, probably how it's worded so... inconsiderately? Sure it put her name in the headlines, but it's not as if she's milking the incident and pushing it as a sob story. If anything, it's Chris Brown who's trying to make himself look like the victim that aggravates me.
- Two Dollar Bill:
- Beyonce in general irritates me. I think she can sing, but her music just... aggravates me. "If you like it then you shoulda put a ring on it."
You're married, you twit. That song is meaningless. The only reason you did it and released it is because you knew the sheeple around the world would buy it and you could make money. It has no substance.
That's why I hate so many artists. They have nothing to say. They just make irritating music for the purpose of making millions off of the masses. And the masses eat it up.
I don't necessarily agree with this. It doesn't make a song meaningless if, say, the artist sings about murder when he hasn't necessarily murdered anyone. It's still a message that you may not like and not relate to, but you can't say that for everyone. I mean, people buy and like it, right?
And I don't think all music has to be incredibly deep and personal and have some kind of life-changing message... lol, the singer might just want to make a song about some party they went to. And, as a listener, sometimes I just want something
fun to sing along or dance to without having to analyze every beat or lyric.
So, yeah. I don't think it's because they have nothing to say or whatever. You may not like them and you may not wanna listen to their songs, but they probably just love performing, the same way your favorite bands do.
Which is what I keep in mind for some of the artists in these thread and why I don't really have a personal vendetta against them (unless they're renowned douches). I just don't like the music, so I avoid them. Do I wish they'd stop making music? LOL, YES, but they won't, and some people don't, but I won't question their motives for putting out more music. It seems a bit too judgmental, even for a 'dislike' thread.
