I think that Alicia Keys and Beyonce have some of the most annoying voices ever.
i also am tired of Rihanna's music, because again. Her voice really annoys me, and though she was mainstream before, I think the main reason why she is hailed as "the best pop/r&b artist ever~" and gets played on the radio every 5 minutes is because Chris Brown beat her.

I don't know if I should put this here. XD
I hate Christina Aguilera's normal songs. But she has an absolutely amazing voice.
I just hate that she has so much talent and never puts it to good use. I was very very bleh about her until I heard her cover of John Lennon's Mother on the Instant Karma charity cd and holy shit, she blew me away.
If she'd actually fucking sing instead of make stereotypical, heavily edited pop crap she'd be great.

I was none too happy with that new song of hers, but I haven't heard the whole album. Some of her past songs have really shown off her vocals. Some are more poppy, but I still like them.

She bores me rigid. Honestly, everything she's released sounds same-y, apart from the Gaga duets.

Metallica, Muse & Biffy Clyro. All for various reasons.

I do like me some old-school Destiny's Child though. lmfao

It's a hazard of growing up in the 90s! I hear anything from that time, and it just... brings back the memories, and I love it.

Which one's that band that sung 'Shoot the Runner'?

Kasabian, that's them. I haaaaate Kasabian. Really dislike them. They're super big-headed too. They said, "Now Oasis are gone, we're the biggest band in the UK!" and I was like, "Habfdfnjhdjbdglef. Hand. No. Just no."

I'm adding Oasis, actually. I don't like Oasis either. XD.

The Fratellis. OMFG. Don't get me started on the Fratellis.

I saw her live once, and she was incredible singing "Hurt" and "Beautiful"
But this whole cyborg-trying to be Gaga and Madonna thing has to go.

Is it sad that I hate almost every single artist that you guys have all mentioned?
If I were to list all of my dislikes, I would never stop. I cannot stand Kesha or 3oh3, apart or together. Just kill me, please.
Jason Derulo also drives me crazy. Those are the main three artists that assault my ears when I happen to hear the radio (which thankfully is hardly ever), and I find them pretty much talentless and insane irking.

Also, I find Paramore and Muse so bland and trite and ughhh. I'm not one for hype, but one of my former close friends was always talking about how good both bands were, and when I listened to them, I was so disappointed. Like yuck.

OH! I almost forgot. I don't think I saw anybody else that hated Linkin Park, but I do! They've always just rubbed me the wrong way.

Wow I sound really hateful, haha ;)

I have her new album. My favourites are two of the bonus tracks to be honest. But the ballads are great and I like the song she did with MIA. /kinda spammish.

Ohdear. XD I find this really offensive for some reason, probably how it's worded so... inconsiderately? Sure it put her name in the headlines, but it's not as if she's milking the incident and pushing it as a sob story. If anything, it's Chris Brown who's trying to make himself look like the victim that aggravates me.
    Two Dollar Bill:

I don't necessarily agree with this. It doesn't make a song meaningless if, say, the artist sings about murder when he hasn't necessarily murdered anyone. It's still a message that you may not like and not relate to, but you can't say that for everyone. I mean, people buy and like it, right?

And I don't think all music has to be incredibly deep and personal and have some kind of life-changing message... lol, the singer might just want to make a song about some party they went to. And, as a listener, sometimes I just want something fun to sing along or dance to without having to analyze every beat or lyric.

So, yeah. I don't think it's because they have nothing to say or whatever. You may not like them and you may not wanna listen to their songs, but they probably just love performing, the same way your favorite bands do.

Which is what I keep in mind for some of the artists in these thread and why I don't really have a personal vendetta against them (unless they're renowned douches). I just don't like the music, so I avoid them. Do I wish they'd stop making music? LOL, YES, but they won't, and some people don't, but I won't question their motives for putting out more music. It seems a bit too judgmental, even for a 'dislike' thread.

    / tl; dr lmfao

ALSO another thing to add to my list.
