    @ unfurl your wings.
Thanks for the info because I was really worried. I'm glad that Bolin will get a chance to grow because they really dicked him in this season.

I felt the same way. i was happy there was a happy ending, but it felt so final. How can you move on from perfection?

Hi, I'm new to this thread, so excuse me for being as awkward as Pema when she was trapped between Asami and Mako's fight in the kitchen, but the season finale had me thinking I should buy myself a life alert. My body wasn't ready at all, especially for the emotional last moments of Tarrlok and Noatak.

I must say though, for a "kid's" show, having Tarrlok commit suicide and murder Noatak seemed pretty above-PG to me.

I know how you feel! I was not ready at all, but it was so amazing.

That...is so true. It's 7+ up for the age rating. Imagine having a seven year old actually watch that?!

I probably should have checked on this when the show started, but I had been a little busy with college and junk. To say that I am thrilled with people posting on here would be an understatement, I am so excited.

This show pretty much has taken over my life, and I am not ashamed. I love the characters, and the animation is simply beautiful. I feel like the show has grown up with the fanbase that is had originally targeted, but it is also still enjoyable for those who are younger.

I felt like when Noatak and Tarrlok died that it really took the show to the next level. A:TLA never really showed anyone being killed off like that, with such finality to it.

Yes, yes; I agree with this so much. There is not one thing that I am obsessed with more than this show. Not even the shows I truly grew up with, like yu-gi-oh, Pokemon and Digimon. Those don't even compare. I loved A:TLA, but this just took it to a whole new level.

Although, I do think they should up the rating. (Y'know, parents getting mad 'n all about the content of some of the show. Especially since seven year old children can watch it, according to the rating.)

When Tarrlok did that, and the boat blew up...Wow. I was just starting to like them, too! Sad I mean, there was some pretty certain deaths in A:TLA. Like Jet and General Zhao, but never with such...force as with this. It also pained me very much when they waited 'til the last two minutes to actually make the fandom happy again! XD

Did anyone else but me hear about them making extending the show so there's four books and fifty-two episodes now?

I'm so excited. Mr. Green They also released a bit of information, including some things about new characters and such!

Book two is titled "Spirits." Each book is supposed to have a different antagonist, and from what I can tell - and by the title of this book - the antagonists in this book are going to be spirits this time around. Which will be pretty interesting! We'll also learn a bit about how the Avatar came about, as well. OMFG

Hi I'm an oldish ATLA fan (I watched it when it first came out and I was there when it ended). I may not love Korra (the show) as much as I loved the Avatar, but I still love the legend of Korra nonetheless, and I can't wait til the second season/book comes out. I still have to get book 2 of Avatar. XD

I have the entire first season in my computer. I swear I've watched it so many times, I'm beginning to quote the darn thing. The final episode where Mako and Korra kissed - Happy face I couldn't stop squealing!

I liked Legend of Korra, but it was nothing compared to Avatar: The Last Airbender. Didn't compare at all. The animation was fantastic, but the writing lacked in several ways. It did not live up to my expectations, and I know many people feel the same way, some even going so far as to cry at the finale.
And wow, Mako fans.... I'm going to come out and say I can't stand Mako, and I know for a fact I'm not alone on that either. A good portion of the fandom thinks like me, and I'm proud of that. Makorra was shoved unpleasantly down our throats for the entire season because Bryke commanded it be so, not because Korra and Mako even have much in common at all or because they're compatible whatsoever. Mako is made to be overpowered because Bryke want him to be the golden boy of the show. He overshadows several characters and is what a blog I like to follow calls a "Mako Stu" haha. He's a horrible boyfriend to Asami, a horrible friend who's willing to make ultimatums to not be friends anymore when Korra was only doing her job (oh but two episodes later he's going crazy when she goes missing! More crazy then when his own brother went missing! He really cares more about this girl he just met than his own brother?), and he's not even that great of a brother. He treats Bolin like a child despite there only being a two year age difference between them. He doesn't take his ideas seriously, and blames mistakes he has made on Bolin. Also, Bolin getting his heart broken? His own fault too. Mako never takes responsibility for his actions, even when Asami is confronting him about his feelings for Korra. His apologies are half-assed. I'm going to stop ranting here because I've already typed so much just about Mako and I could type more but I won't oh my god I need to stop.
SOOOOOOOO Legend of Korra, overall okay. I have hesitant hopes for book 2 to improve things. Certainly by books 3 and 4 things should be improved......

According to this article from May 7 this years, Nickelodeon hasn't given Korra a debut date yet but claims it will be back "later this year". A.K.A. probably in the fall because that's usually what that means with tv. >.<

I loved Korra. She gave women a good name in my opinion. Sure she was hot headed and ignorant but she was amazing. That's a real character to me. Has human flaws.

I think what bothered me the most was Aang died Cry I grew up on Avatar and to see a show where he was dead, the feels. I like how they made Katara look like Gram Gram tehe I'm still wondering what happened to Toph, Suki(or Sookie?), Appa, or Sokka. I want to know their stories!

I also exspected Aang and Katara to have more kids. And more Airbender children too. I don't know why. I still loved the show so very much.

I didn't like the fact that Aang died, too. But his spirit lives on in Korra. In Love
