I used to have my dream wedding all planned out, and it was pretty stereotypical. I've never, ever wanted a church wedding, though. Something outside was always ideal for me. I never really questioned it until I got engaged -- which I have been for over a year -- and I realized that stereotype weddings are just not for me.
Now, I just know I want it outside.
I don't want it to be traditional.
I know I want a Native American ceremony (he's Native and he described it to me, it's so beautiful sounding).
As for what I'm going to wear? I have no freaking clue! I don't want your typical white dress. I don't want anything you can really find on bridal sites or in magazines. I don't want to be all plain like my mom (for her marriage to my father, her dress came from Wal-mart and it cost no more than like $30). There isn't traditional wear for a Native American ceremony that I could go with because it's been so diluted by white society (damn them yankees! ). So I don't know. Maybe Will has some ideas for what he wants to see on the love of his life on that "big day" and all. Haha.
Oh and I just have to say this. Yes, I know I'm only 16. I don't care what you think about the fact that I'm engaged at this age because you don't know us or our history. Judging other people is a waste of energy.
That being said, I'd like some ideas on what I should wear if you have any, so send me a message if you have some! =)
