Your Dream Wedding

Haha I literally spent like an hour in front of this thread typing it all up I didn't realise I'd thought about it so much, I guess it's been quite subconscious up until now.

I wanted a wedding in a cathedral because I just love the way those old cathedrals make me feel. It felt like I was transported into the past and looking at those amazing structures and carvings give me a sense of... wonderment?

I would invite mine and my hubbie's friends and family for this joyous occasion.
Sijia who would be professional photographer by then, would take photos and videos of the entire wedding.

All of my close girlfriends would be my bridesmaid while my best friend would be my best friend would be my maid/matron-of-honor.

Said hubbie and I would exchange our vows and present our bodies, souls and rings to each other. (I know... I am such a drama girl)

He would lift up my veil and give me a chaste kiss. (Hardcore stuff would best be left later. )

We would walk out of the cathedral and I would be in tears thinking, "Finally! I'm married and not left on the shelf!"
Looking at the faces of my family and friends, I would start thinking about the years we had spent together and how I would start a whole new chapter of life.

Then, hubbie would whisper in my ear as we get onto the open hooded car, "This is our new life together. I love you."
I would blush.

Turning around, I would throw the bouquet of flowers in my hand. Some girl would catch it and I would wish her good luck from the bottom of my heart because I really want her to experience the joy and the bliss.

Finally, (I know, its ending soon) our "horse" would ride towards the sunset.
Things get a little steamy.

Crashing into the apartment we bought together, we would.... YOU KNOW.

And by the time we wake up the afternoon, I would say, "You know, I can seriously get use to this every day from now on for the rest of my life."

And I want to have it here, in the garden at my friends parents house.
And I want to wear this dress for the ceremony, and no shoes.
And I want to have dinner/speeches etc here in their conservatory restaurant, and then have the "reception" (aka a whole lot of drinking and dancing) anywhere that'll have me.
Oh, and I want this as my reception dress, 'cause it's my dream wedding and I can afford both.

Aaaaanndddd this is where I'll be spending my wedding night. It's also at my friends parents house.

I want my dream wedding to be outside. Its going to be on a small bridge, hovering over a pond full of lilys and beautiful flowers. The bridge is going to have beautiful silky decorations covering it. And its going to be on a full moon in the middle of the night. Its only going to be my immediate family which is still quite a bit of people. I dont mind though, I love them All. Now the reception is going to be inside. I dont really care about the reception, my mom can plan that, shes good at that stuff. But I pick the wedding cake. But the wedding is ALL on me.

Definitely not, I know a few of my girl friends who don't think they want to get married.

^ I thought I was the only one, haha. All of my girl friends want to get married at some point. I don't believe in marriage. To be honest, I don't even believe in love.

Well, I don't think I have a dream wedding.

I like spontaneous-ness. So, when we decide we want to get married, I hope it's spontaneous and we just. . . elope.

But, then again, it depends. Isn't gay/lesbian marriage illegal? -_-

I don't know if its legal in any states yet, but I could be wrong.
Just depends on where you live.

^ In the US, it's only legal in about five states. (That number could be inaccurate, but I'm pretty sure that's it.)

I'll like to have a big, traditional wedding. The groom would be wearing a black tux with a white dress shirt and I'll be wearing a beautiful white dress.

And I want a cake that resembles a mansion. but a mini version obviously, haha.

I want my wedding to be in a fancy hotel in Manhattan or Paris or somewhere in Italy where there is neatly trimmed leans and clean pavements and lots of beautiful flowers and stuff :3

My dream wedding will be with a guy, and I want us to have to have the choice of picking which state to marry in. Basically I want every where to have the yes to gay marriage. :)

I know for sure I want a Spring weather wedding! Not too hot and not too cold, but hopefully no rain either! I have a couple places I'd like to get married : Hawaii, Bali, or Japan. I think my true fantasy wedding is in Japan with nothing but cherry blossom trees and a beautiful Japanese temple. My dress will probably be something Vera Wang style. I want a lot of ruffles in the tulle area and a black ribbon around the waist kind of thing, of course it will be white. I think my bridesmaids will wear an azure blue color, strapless or halter top dress style. Of course if Japan wasn't doable, I think I'd really prefer it to be on a beach :D

For the bouquet I definitely want white orchids. The groomsmen will be in a standard black tux and I'd like for the guests to be formal. I'd prefer to have Japanese food catered. The cake will be marble and three tiered. I don't care where the reception is at, as long as it has a dancefloor (; but has some sort of courtyard that's decorated with many lights and a fountain or waterfall of some sort. I want the bride & groom dance to be "I knew I Loved You" by Savage Garden or "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri.

This is funny because I was just thinking about this today. I even blogged about it.

I'm anxiously waiting for my wedding day (Even tho I don't even have a boyfriend and never did...) and I even have been searching for the perfect dress, of course I got to look flawless, after all is my day. I would like a strapless that fit perfect to my body, it has to be elegant, timeless. Not exactly white, maybe kind of pearl.

My wedding will be full of the people I love and the party will be awesome, music everywhere, everyone dancing, it has to be an experience that no one would forget. The decorations will be romantic, but not that romantic. Also elegent, yeah.
