Hey guys, looking for a beta for my novel which is currently at nine, nearly ten chapters. I'm hoping for someone who can stick with me for a while actually. It is called Crete City, and it's genre's would be Adventure/Drama, with many elements of Action and Fantasy as well as a bit of Romance as well. Hoping for it to be a series, though how many exactly, I don't know. Just need aid with grammar and other typo's and the like. Would like help with deciding on whether it's interesting and how the storyline could be improved if need be. I'm hoping for someone whom is pretty active as well.

Short Synopsis/Summary-ish

Casper Hitaraga has just lost his uncle Vincent Hitaraga, the man everyone called legendary though Casper never knew why. With his uncle's passing, Casper has now effectively been left the last remaining member of the "famous" Hitaraga bloodline. He now must return to Crete City because his uncle wished so for reasons Casper is unaware of. As he finds himself returning to the very city he never thought he would ever seen again, the Houses, a society inhabited by 8 Tribe-like organization are on the verge of war, and Casper will be re-educated in the harsh realities of the world that is the very essence of Crete City.

As of now, none of it is posted on Mibba, since I haven't been on this site in 3-4 years now, maybe even longer. I was here back when it had an actual chat room, not a forum board type system of chatting, if that gives you a hint on how long. Anybody I knew back then probably do not frequent this site any longer so I wanted to rebuild my relationship with this site in general. Private message me when you get the chance and I have a way we can chat in real-time if they are comfortable with that.

I need someone to check for typos and anything weird sounding in Normal is Gross. It's only the first chapter, so it shouldn't be too harsh. Just send me a PM. I write with my iPad, and there is ALWAYS typos to deal with. I feel like if I edit myself... that I'll be inclined to loathe it and re-write it entirely. :c

I'm looking for a proof reader/beta reader for my new story Dawning, which is a piece I am writing for NaNo this month. English isn't my first language, so I catch myself either repeating words, or struggling with certain sentences.

What I'd love is for someone who goes over my written text, puts what they would do differently in a different color text and edits out grammatical errors. If you catch me making the same mistake over and over again, do tell me so I can learn.

The story is a post apocalyptic story which can be found here. I am not sure about the rating yet, but I am feeling PG13, though who knows where my muse takes me. I have a blogpost about the story here, which contains a lot more information.

Since it's for NaNo, I catch myself paying a lot less attention than usual, which is terrible! So, if someone could help me out, that would be GREAT!

So I have a blog that I very infrequently post on and I'm beginning to think that might be because I'm not super confident in my writing. Maybe with a beta reader on my side I'll feel motivated enough to start posting regularly. It's a blog, to be very blunt, about my sex life so it's at least NC-17. I'm also a strident feminist, so I'm hoping it carries some prominent feminist undertones like sex- and body-positivity.

I'd really like some help with my NaNoWriMo novel. It's called Antidote B. I already have over 50k finished, but I'd like to focus on finishing the rest of the novel by the end of November. With that being said, I'd really love someone to look at the flow, help me catch any plot holes, and let me know if I overuse a word or phrase (it's one of my writing faults, honestly). I think my spelling/grammar is okay- at least, I'm not too worried about it right now- so there's no need to focus on that (unless I do something that really bugs you). What I'll probably do is send over the doc and let you make any edits you deem necessary (all I ask is that you don't actually delete anything, simply make a note or change the color).

I don't have a time frame for this, you can work at your own pace, but help would be amazing!! The story is rated R for language, violence, and slight sexual activity. There is a gay pairing that's a pretty big focus in the story, so if that bothers you, this may not be the story for you to edit/proofread. You can find the story here.
