I have that seared into my brain too But that's what's so awesome. Their relationship is damn near identical to House an Wilson's! And the way they sort of taunt each other on Watson's blog, too.

Although I really thought the movie had a lot more of a House-Wilson dynamic than is apparent in this show. I suppose it'll all come out later, though. Plus, how cute was it that Sherlock didn't rat on John for killing the murderer?

That's his only human moment. He doesn't care that John had to go to court for the graffiti, even.

The blog taunting is brilliant. I'm still waiting for "Bond night."

The Guy Ritchie movie was really House-Wilson. He treated Watson better than others, but was still clingy and jealous.
... I literally just now saw the Mary/Amber thing.


But this show only shows them just as the meet and a few weeks later. I'm sure they'll evolve in the second part.

I thought that too. That was probably the idea. And since he is a "high functioning sociopath" he can't love.

And yeah, each episode will continue to be 90 minutes long, from what I've read. I love how long they are too, but honestly, when I'm watching them I get so engrossed I don't even notice the time. At first I didn't even realize they were 90 minutes. /fail

Well, I just got hooked on it really easily. I love how badly Sherlock treats Anderson it's just so entertaining!
I can't wait to get the series on dvd on 30th August. Pilot episode here I come! Although I've seen bits of it and it's so unbelievably different from what the first episode actually turned out to be, even if the two were the same episode

I don't want to wait a year for the next series to come out

I want the show on dvd right the fuck now.
But I can't order the UK one unless it's able to be played on US dvd players.

But omg I love this show.
I've been having a serious funk about all my favourite shows being cancelled or ruining themselves so this is just so refreshing.

I'm in the process of conning my parents into getting me the DVD for a 'going to university, we love you present' though if that fails my birthday is sixteen days after it comes out so I'll beg my nanny for it

I love it though, I really hope that with the next ones they film at my university (because they film quite alot of things there during the year) and I'd love to stalk it
