Organizing Your Bookshelf

Well, one bookshelf has mostly young adult books. Those are organized by series and the ones that aren't in a series are just in a random order. My second bookshelf is somewhat organized by genre and author.

I organize it by size because I lay most of my books down rather than stand them up considering I haven't gotten an actual bookshelf yet. It's getting kind of out of control because I'm running out of space and the stacks are getting too tall so I inevitably knock them over or my cat does. When I do have a bookshelf, I want to do it in alphabetical order.

I organize them by author's name, and if they have the same author name, I organize them by name. As for series, they are put in order.
