I'd like some help with the plot development of a new story I just started working on. The story revolves around the current events regarding the drug war in the border side of Mexico, focusing on Juarez City and the increasing crimes.

I'd simply like to swap for ideas as to how to start this piece.

If you're available or interested in helping, please PM me.

    Hey sexy people of Mibba.

So I had this dream a while ago, and it really compelled me to write a Lord of the Rings/Harry Potter crossover. It would kind of have elements of Alice in Wonderland, but it would basically be a witch who finds herself in Middle Earth right after the battle at Minas Tirith in Return of The King. I kind of need someone to just talk it over with and see if I can actually write it... and if it doesn't sound too cheesy xD

    Any help is loved! Arms
I don't think that could have sounded any nerdier...

So, I've got a loose plot and concrete characters, but I need some help just tying up loose ends and forming a coherent chain of events for a new original piece of mine. It's really different than anything I've ever done before, so just having someone to talk it through with would be amazing.

    Help? XD

Ok. In the hopefully near future I am going to be working on a Doctor Who and X-Files crossover story. There are a few concepts that need work that are holding me back from even really getting started. Any discussion about it would be great, even if you aren't too well-versed in the fandoms. My main hang ups are as follows:
-When in Mulder and Scully's timeline to set the story
-What exactly our heroes are all up against. I'm kinda leaning towards an alien that isn't too outlandish or big time sci fi (like most aliens on DW would be) this is especially going to be the case if I set it early in the X-Files characters' timeline because I'd rather not irreparably damage canon timelines. (If Mulder had contact with such an alien it would affect how future incidents would be handled by him, you see.)
-Also about the alien threat, I don't know what exactly our "big bad/monster of the week" is doing or is planning to do. I know at different points all the main characters' lives will probably be under great threat in one way or another.

That's all I can think of right now. If I come up with more ideas or questions, I will edit. Also, PM or profile comment is fine, although, I believe I would prefer PM.

EDIT: Help has arrived. Thanks. Cute (still if anyone else wants to message, feel free.)

I've started a Vampire Chronicles fanfic story that follows Lestat de Lioncourt and a young vampire woman. I need some constructive criticism, if anyone would like to help me.

The story is called The Nightingale, it's rated NC-17 (Mostly for violence right now, though there may be some very explicit sexual content in the future.)

    Thanks! In Love In Love

Forget it, removed the story. I'll be revamping it (no pun intended) so it is an original simply inspired by the series but including nothing that anne rice copyrighted.

I've come to realize now that I have trouble starting stories. For instance, say I wanted to write a story about a beautiful mountain. How could I start it?

    I couldn't say:

    The mountain was beautiful......yadda yadda....

Because that would be too lame.

I also couldn't start with something like:

    The rocky slope...yadda...yadda...

Because starting that soon with a description would be kind of weird.... Sigh.

    Help!

    I'm good now. :)

I'm writing a fluffy-ish one-shot at the moment but I feel that something's lacking in the description. I'm not sure what it is exactly, so was wondering if someone could read it over and give me some feedback? It's not posted yet, and it's 621 words.

    Please PM me.

I need to find a sister for a story I'm working on(: I would prefer for them to look kind of similar (facial-wise), but I understand that siblings can look way different. (: Just about 16-17 in age, a slight dirty-blonde is what I'm hoping, but considering the main character is a red-head, I have no clue what the best sibling hair choice would be... Help? Please PM me!

I need someone to help me with this story I'm trying to create. The name of it is Crucified and I'm sort of at a lose with the plot. I got the idea from Bring Me the Horizon's song Crucify Me . I know that I want a girl to be going through some sort of revelation with Christ and for her to fall in love with my main character who is helping her, but I just don't know.
    Please PM me. <3

I need a cheerleader/motivator person who's pretty nifty and knowledgeable about religions in general. The story is based around the son of a god who is also a god, but he is punished and sent to Earth to live out his punishment. It shouldn't be too complex.

I'd like to discuss the plot and structure of an original piece I'm currently writing with someone. I need help figuring out what it's classified as too, as I'm torn between classing it as a novel or a novella.

I've been working on a Frerard One-Shot for almost a year, and I need someone who has experience writing slash to help or give me some tips on how to write slash sex, because I have no experience whatsoever and I don't want to BS it, so that's why I'm asking for some help.

I can send you what I have written so far, so you can get the feel and the location and all that stuff.

    Thanks. Cute

I'm having some trouble with a narrative I'm writing for school. It shouldn't be very long, only about 1000 words, and I'm struggling. So far I've got far too much dialogue and I need some help. It's on the overall theme of 'belonging' (seems simple enough, right?) and in particular the theme of belonging in regards to people, places, communities and the larger world.
I know the general idea and I've started the story. It begins with a lonely young man in a strip club (circa 1940's Paris) where he's been wasting his life away due to some marital troubles. In a way, he's replacing his feeling of belonging to love and to his wife with distasteful, meaningless entertainment. So far it obviously relates to people, it relates to places (in the contrast of the strip club and the home) and community (through the communal low standards of such a place). I think I want it to end with the man being reconciled with his wife and rediscovering a real sense of belonging, but I'm having trouble getting there.

So if anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it. Just PM me.
