I need help with a story of mine. I'm stumped on ideas, and I can't seem to think of a thing right now. D: It's about a gay boy who comes out to his parents. Well, it takes place after he does actually. Anyway, he has a crush on his best friend who isn't like any other. The two have been best friends since birth because their mothers were best friends too. Basically, the boy is not only afraid of what his parents will think, but he is also afraid of losing his best friend if they were to date... that sort of thing.

I haven't gotten very many ideas for it, and I'm thinking of restarting it again until I have the ideas I need. Message me if you are willing to help. :( It's greatly needed.

I need help with a story I'm trying to brainstorm ideas on how to start it. Please Don't. It's fanfiction and it's Kellin Quinn/Alex Gaskarth and Kellin is a rich brat but he has to change his ways when he meets an awkward stranger who's ready to take his life. I'm just not sure how I should start it.
    Please and thank you c:

I'm attempting to bring myself back into writing by writing about something I know. However, I'm hesitant and having trouble figuring out a way to write it because of how difficult the story is. Here's a small background to what I am writing about:

I fell in love when I was in 5th grade. I had an online friend who introduced me to his "neighbor" Grant. We dated for 3 years on and off and surprisingly, there was no phone calls/barely any pictures from him/and it was not sexual in any way(so he wasn't just into me for sex). 3 years into our on and off relationship, everything went from great to awful. I got messages from another person(I knew her through another friend and she is Crazy with a capital C) about how he wasn't real. And messages from Grant's "sister" that he was and I never heard from him again.

To this day, I don't know what happened or where he went or if he really even loved me. I've gotten suggestions on writing it as if I imagined him. The problem I see with that is that I don't want to make myself seem like I imagined someone perfect that I was in love with for three years...because that isn't the case.

I also have been told to write it from the point of view of Katie(the other girl's name) being Grant. But honestly, that's just hard to bare.

I need help, guys. And I'm asking you for it. Private message or response on here is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks, guys.

I know it's early, but I still need help with planning and brainstorming. I'm writing a Christmas story about a woman who tries to find Christmas. It's based on the song by Faith Hill from The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. I really want to make this story work. I have some ideas, but I'm just struggling with trying to make them work.

I want to have it up and running around November when the Christmas rush usually starts. If you might be able to help, send me a private message!

I need someone to help me bring back my inspiration. I have plenty of notes, loads in fact, and a few chapters written, but I've started to feel like it's not good and that's not good. This is the link to the story. It's a Harry-centric HP fic.

If anyone wants to help me find my muse again, maybe help iron out the plans I have, message me.

I have an idea for a story that I'm currently drawing the mind-map for/creating notes/etc. Basically, Easton and Elisha/Sarah/can't decide on a name were childhood friends. They either:
    1. became friends at homeschool (they attend a homeschool co-op)
    2. became pen-pals, again, through a home-school co-op. Easton lives in the next town over/nearest city and moves into Sarah's town.

Easton moves away 3 (or something) years later and Sarah 'changes' - even though her family's Christian and she's portrayed as the 'good girl', she skips school and maybe smokes and stuff?(now I have that 5sos song in my head)

When they're older - about 17 - Easton moves back into town. His family are no longer Christian because they believe God didn't save their eldest daughter, who died.
Sarah's family bully(?) his family and refuse contact between Sarah and Easton.

    That's all I have. I can't think of a resolution or a conclusion and it's frustrating me...

Right now, I'm struggling with the plot for my Tom Hiddleston story. I'm trying to make it realistic for one thing. It's hard because I'm so worried about my character ending up as a Mary Sue... but I'll save that for something else since this is about my plot.

Basically, Kaitlin is homeless. She's been that way for about a week. She used to have a job, but she was fired. She's had many other jobs she just couldn't do very well. With that said, she also has no place to live because she got evicted from her apartment. Kaitlin doesn't value or life, considering she's homeless. That's why Tom decides to take her in and get her back on her feet again.

So far, I've only written down notes. I need help with ideas or something to get this story going right now too. If you have questions about it, or you need more info... please don't hesitate to ask me. I'll try to answer the best I can.

Please help! ;o; PM me if you think you can give me some advice.

So I want to write a Loki story with a female antagonist, but, being fairly new to the Marvel universe, I'm struggling with whether it would make any sense or not. Essentially, in return for his freedom, Loki goes to a Hell outside of the nine realms to retrieve this woman, who didn't serve her time after she was convicted of treason- she escaped and disappeared. He has to find her. She sees him as the key to getting back her own freedom. I'm thinking about adding some romance in there, but again- not sure if it has the power to work. Anyone who can help me out would be greatly appreciated! PM me or reply here!

I'm just recently getting back into writing stories and such and I've begun a student/teacher fic 'cause most of the ones I find just aren't realistic or move too quickly. I only have two chapters up so far(Here) but I'd love to have someone give me feed back and hear what I had in mind for future chapters and give me feedback on them as well. Having someone to bounce ideas off of and help me keep the story realistic and entertaining while give me advice on how to improve my writing sounds prefect! I'd prefer you PM me but you can reply on here if that suits you :)

I'm wondering if someone can give me some advice on how to write a darker story, like a vampirish/Supernatural (genre) romanticish one, and maybe some advice on writing out femmeslash? I've never really had any experience in the femmeslash department and it's been a while since I've written anything that relates to the supernatural.

I'm thinking about writing a story that's based on The Fast & The Furious (silly, I know) and one of my favorite bands. I just need someone who can put their input on my ideas if that's too much to ask? If someone can help, that would be great! :)

I'm writing two different stories and I'm looking for a mentor and/or editor. Preferably someone who uses pages so they can read my notes, but obviously anyone who is interested will be greatly appreciated. I prefer pm's.

I have two stories I'm working on. One is a one-shot inspired by the other.

The one-shot is about a fisherman being seduced by a siren, and I need help checking the content. I want to make sure I'm convey the story properly and I'm having trouble fitting a certainty part of the legend to the story.

It's a fantasy story mostly focusing on Greek legends and myths. I have tons of ideas for it and quite a bit written, but I have no idea where it's going. I'm trying to write it sort of action-ey and I haven done that before so I'm kind of at a loss.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you :)

I've recently started a new Harry Potter story. Which can be found here. It's set in the Marauder's era and starts off with the biggest main characters and how they met. And I have a plot already in mind, I even have some of the future scenes planned out I also for the most part know how I want the bigger moments to plan out. What I need help with really is I figuring out how long I should write in each year. If that makes sense. Because while a lot of the plot I've come up with takes place in their later years, there are things that need to be explained that happen in their earlier years. But I don't want the story to drag on or spend too much time in one year going over things that aren't necessary.

So I guess what I'm ultimately asking is if someone would be interested in reading what I have so far, going over the basics I already have planned out, and helping me determine how long I should write in each year.

Anyways if you're interested in helping at all it would be greatly appreciated, and I do prefer to be contacted via PM.

Hello, this is probably a very dumb question but if I don't ask then I won't know, so please forgive me if you slap yourself in the face for my stupidity:

Is it OK to ask for help from someone when getting stuck on a story?
What is asked in return - how should the writer credit whoever helps?

I can't seem to get past this barrier in my story where everything has come to a bit of a standstill because several people are trapped/whereabouts unknown and I'm not entirely sure where to go from here. The story is currently dealing with a ransom and I can't think of an exciting way to deal with this.

I will happily share the link to my work with whoever helps.

I'm in the midst of developing an idea for Nanowrimo this year, and I'm having a lot of trouble with the idea I'd like to use. I have plenty planned out, but I'm having some difficulty with world building, and figuring out where I'd like to start. I have the idea somewhat developed, but I'd really like a second opinion and someone to brainstorm with.

Hey all, I need help fleshing out the beginning of my original story. It's about demons, mages, humans, and half-breeds. The main characters are Devon, a demon, and Alicia, a half-breed.
Half-breeds are those that are half-human. Any other mixture is fine, but to mix with a human is illegal, looked down upon, and an offense that ends with nothing but death.
His job is to capture and hand over the half-breeds in the area. Somehow, Alicia's secret is thrown out and he's sent after her. But, surprise, she's the one he falls for.

My issue lies in bringing them together. A scenario in which her secret gets out, when only her family knows that she's a half-breed. I legit need some drama in that tight-knit family; be it for money or safety. Anyone wanna bounce ideas around? Pretty please and super thanks?

Not sure if people still come on to this thread but...

If someone could help me develop ideas and figure out what ideas would work best when with my Harry Potter story - Like a Phoenix I would be very grateful.
