    What this thread is for:
    - Requesting possible titles for your story if you need help naming it.
    - Asking for con/crit on a story title.
    - Posting pre-made story titles that you are not using.

    .
I've read a lot of journals where people ask for story title suggestions, comments/criticism on their title, etc, and thought to make this thread as a sort of general place for all these things to be. If you do post pre-made titles, please specify whether or not you would like credit for them.

I'm trying to decide on a name for this story.

    Currently, my choices are:
    Unhuman/Inhuman
    Phenomenon
    Being

Any ideas as to what would fit best?

    Roseh; thank you:

I like "Unhuman" the most; I think it fits but yet doesn't give too much away. "Being" would be my worst favorite. I understand what you mean by it, but the word can also be a verb, so it can throw readers off and make it sound awkward.

    Thanks Cute

Most others have said that, so I'm going to keep it.

^ I disagree, unhuman just sounds strange to me. And it isn't even a word. I like inhuman better.

Dictionary.com seems to think that it's a word. Whether that's reliable or not, I don't know, but it lists it as a word on this page under "Related Forms".

Yeah, my main problem is that it does sound strange and slightly unnatural. That's why I've always doubted that name and am trying to get opinions on alternatives.

I really like But I See You, maybe something like Below Par or Inadmissible. Just throwing stuff out there.

This is just me being stupid and having a hard time on what sounds right compared to what doesn't

Is it supposed to be (or in you're opinion what sounds better)

I need a name for a oneshot I'm writing for a contest about a prostitute. I was considering Streetwalker, but I'm not sure how that would play out.

^ I really like "Streetwalker" but it just... doesn't really fit.
It sounds more like some kind of mythical thing, ya know? xD
I bet you could make it work if you wanted, though.

Maybe you could try something else having to do with streets.
Like... "On the Corner" or "Street Princess."
Anything like that would work really well, I think.

I second that. Or maybe "Corner Queen"

    But that sounds weird. Shifty

    I like Corner Queen
Streetwalker does sounds more like a fairy tale type story.
