Stars and Shiny Toy Guns both have male and female vocalists, which I personally prefer.

Away We Go is a band that only has a female singer, as well as He is We.

We Are The In Crowd. They actually have a female and male, but she usually sings more in the songs.

I really like bands with female vocalists. Here are the ones I like and can think of (even if some of them have already been said)

    Evanescence
    Epica
    Paramore
    Delain
    Sirenia
    Leaves' Eyes
    After Forever
    Lunatica
    Flyleaf
    Tarja Turunen (ex-Nightwish female soloist)
    Lacuna Coil
    Xandria
    Theatre of Tragedy

Broken Social Scene has 4 female singers, but that's only because the lineup rotates every year.
Metric's Emily Haines - she does her own solo stuff which is incredible as well.
    Stars' Amy Millan.
    VersaEmerge's Sierra Kusterbeck.
Plumtree is an all-girl band, disbanded now though.
Hannah Georgas, who is more a solo artist but has a backing band.
    Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Karen O.
    Tegan and Sara.
A Fine Frenzy (It's more like a NeverShoutNever deal - she's a solo artist under a title. Really really good though.)
And The Academy Is...'s William Beckett.

We are the in crowd- they have male and female vocals that sound awesome, and the female doesn't have that annoying high squeaky voice that a lot do.
automatic loveletter- the singer is the one from all time low's song remembering sunday (if you know of it)
Cady Groves- she is more folky than anything but I love her songs to death.

that's is all i can think of sorry if these were repeats i tried.

Again, I hope you don't mind the language barrier:

Christina Stürmer, Wir sind Helden, Herbstrock, and Jennifer Rostock are led by females.

Stolen Babies has a female vocalist. Not only does she sing, but she screams and plays the accordian. XD They have kind of a weird sound. Their genre's described as avant-garde metal and dark cabaret. They're a bit strange, but I definitely recommend them.

Damone is also another female fronted band that I really love, but unfortunately they're not that famous at all. You can buy all of their albums on iTunes, though. They have a pop/glam-rock sound. Kinda like Cheap Trick meets Thin Lizzy.
