Me too! She puts in so much emotion in whatever song she sings, it almost makes me cry. Cheese

Forgot another one! Sleigh Bells has a female singer. I don't know how to describe their music, though, since I've only heard one or two songs. I guess just indie rock-ish? I dunno, but they sound interesting. XD

^^ I would classify Sleigh Bells as noise pop. I try to stay away from classifying bands as "indie" based on their sound, since all indie means is that they're signed to an independent record label.

As far bands with female vocalists,
    Best Coast In Love
    Warpaint
    Vivian Girls
    Beach House
    Dirty Projectors
    Braids
    Camera Obscura
    The Fiery Furnaces
    Tilly and the Wall
    The Submarines

Inevitably I forgot some. None of those bands are on the metal side of rock. A few of them are more experimental and ambient than anything else. I tried not to repeat any of the bands people already named, though someone already mentioned that Arcade Fire has a female vocalist and I must say...Regine Chassagne's voice... In Love

-I bet no one's mentioned them :) They actually have three vocalists, the main one of which is female. They're a new, Swedish band, who sound a little bit like Sonic Syndicate with a female singer in my opinion.

    Other female fronted bands:
    Within Temptation
    Evanescence
    Nightwish
    Delain
    Sirenia
    Leaves' Eyes
    After Forever
    Lacuna Coil
    Xandria
    Epica
Yeah, I like female fronted metal Smile
