    Dear America (youths in particular),

I honestly fear for my generation. Every kid I know has a horrible vocabulary, and takes no interest in learning. All they care about is sex, shitty music, and partying. I honestly have no idea what is wrong with us Facepalm

    Agreed.
And the generation after is even worse. Facepalm Girls getting pregnant before they're even supposed to know how to have sex. It's insanity.

I find it funny how the youth is blamed and not the adults raising them.

It's both. The youth do what they do, and the parent's let them do it.

    Dear America,

    Please eliminate race.
There shouldn't even be a 'Check which race applies to you' box on ANYTHING.
Please make it to where NO ONE has an advantage.
    No privileges for anyone.
    Conduct blind interviews.
    Do something.
    I'm so sick of it.
Eliminate the boxes, Eliminate the hate.

Some people view their race is part of their identity. Shifty No one has the right to take someone's identity away.

The idea of everyone being "color-blind" sounds nice and all, but it fails to address the inequality (economic, educational, etc.) that centuries of racism have caused.

I see all this hate... Yeah America has problems but were trying to fix them. And you can't blame everyone for What some people do. No matter how many problems we have we have good things too.

That's right, you can't blame everyone for what some people do. You can however blame the majority for what they do. Stupidity and democracy do not mix well.

    Dear America,
Watch the children. When the children grow, help them, but dont force them, to choose a right path. Even the most slowest flower can still grow to be beautiful.

Thank you for opening your arms and letting people come from everywhere (legally, in a good light). Even though there is racism, there are hundreds of friends from different countries that come together with no prejudice at all. Thank you for taking in my family when my old country was in flames. If I never moved, I would've never seen the people I would say, "you're beautiful!" to, because I would never look long enough at people with different skin or body shape from a distance. So thanks.

    Dear America,

Stop fucking copying other people's shows. You think that just because you slap on "adapted for American audiences" it isn't stealing an idea out of sheer laziness on your part? I didn't like the British Skins and I wont like the American one. The American Office is slapstick and ridiculous and completely unamusing. It has none of the genius of the British Office. Life on Mars? Oh you have to be kidding me. And then Death at a Funeral? For fuck's sake. The movie was fine as it was. And don't get me started on Let the Right One In. I'm fucking sick of your unoriginality and your attempt to brainwash people into believing you have any sort of bright ideas. You don't. Why do American audiences even need any sort of "adaption"? Can we not deal with any culture besides our own? Will British television kill us?

Go do something original, or fire all your shitty producers please.

Dear U.K. and the rest of the world,

On behalf of America, I apologize. They're idiots.

Just because people view it as their identity doesn't mean that everyone else should have to.
If race doesn't matter in the slightest then there shouldn't even be a box to check on tests and applications. There's no real reason for it to be there.

If we're all going to be equal, we might as well ALL be equal, right? And eliminating race (on paper) might be a good way to start that.

Not to say they have to give up their race, for whatever reason. If they wanted to still keep up whatever it is they had going... I just don't see why anyone would need to check the little box to feel good about it to keep their 'identity.'

The equality you're talking about denies individuality. It assumes we are all exactly the same with no discernible differences. If eliminating race on tests and applications will eliminate racism, then why don't we eliminate age as well, so that people will stop discriminating based on age. Gender too, can be eliminated. Then what do we have? All these -isms may cause problems, but it's still part of our identity, and a major part of how we act, as humans.

"Eliminating race" (though I think you mean making race irrelevant) would be quite a nice idea if there already was equality.

Turn the prisons in to f*cking prisons not a get away vacation! They are there to be punished not get free dental and medical care for breaking the law, they broke the damn law you should be taking AWAY not GIVING them stuff.

    Dear America

Lets stir the pot up a bit more yes? Theres bunches and bunches of different culture splashed in on a white base but all those bunches have tendencies to accumulate in little groups and not blend. If we get more blendage going on then the quicker prejudices from all sides will be eliminated.

    Dear America

Stop saying you hate America and be thankful you can say that with out it being a capitol punishment. As I'm sure you would receive if you lived in North Korea and said something against it. America has it's faults but it's sure as hell better then a lot of other places in the world. Instead of saying that or thinking that or having strong opinions take some action. Having an opinion wont change anything no matter how loud you shout it with the other people. If your going to leave leave if not shut up because your the one choosing to stay in a place you hate.

    Dear America,

Have you honestly forgotten how the Republicans destroyed our country during the Bush administration? They're the reason we're in this economic recession, and now you re elected them back to office, thinking it's going to fix the country? Really? They're just going run into the ground again. It's going to be no worse then it was 3 years ago.

And, really Democrats? Acting like you're not even part of your own party to get elected? Grow some backbone. That's why everyone's mad at you. You guys promised change and all we're getting is half of what we wanted because you guys fail to be assertive. I'm disappointed.
