I only have half brothers (no sisters).

I don't think of them as half though, they're just my four brothers.

I have two half sisters, I found out about my big sister when I was 14 - she lives in Illinois with her mother, my dad didn't do much to find her after her mother took off so I was kind of angry with him. My oldest sister is 25, and she looks just like my dad. My baby sister, who is also my half sibling is the product of my step mom and my dad. She is turning one this July.

My half siblings are just my siblings to me.. I don't even think about it anymore, they're just my brother and sister.

I found out about a year ago that all 7 of my younger siblings are my half-siblings and that I'm not biologically related to my father. I've never met my real father, mostly because he has a history of child molestation. I also found out that I have another half-brother I've never met. I still debate over whether or not I ever want to meet him and knowing that he exists is the only thing that has caused me grief when I found out that I'm not biologically related to my dad. Not because of him, per se, but because of all the trouble I've heard he's had with my biological dad.

However, it's nice knowing why I look absolutely nothing like my dad and why I didn't get Asperger's Syndrome, something he seems to have passed down to nearly all of my siblings. Also solved the mystery of why I lived with my mom and grandmother until I was four.

It's funny how I used to think that the issue of half-siblings was something I'd only hear about and never have. It actually was like that until recently.
I now have a half-brother and a half-sister. I can say I'm kind of prejudiced so I've only really accepted my half-brother, then again, he came first... the sister was kind of a shock to me. Even though a lot of people would understand if I didn't ever want to have anything to do with them, I still want to take care of them (at the very least my brother). I have no idea why, I guess it's just a feeling Mr. Green

I have a half-sister and a half-brother. They're from my dad's first marriage and 14 and 11 years older than me so we aren't too close, but I still think of my half-sister as my sister.

I only have one sibling, a half-brother who's twelve years older than me, but because we were raised together by our single mom, I can't say that I really consider him as only a "half"-brother. To me, he's pretty much just my big brother tehe

I only found out my brother (he's 27, I'm 18) is actually my half brother a couple of years ago. It doesn't mean a thing though, half, whole, step, adopted or whatever he may be he's still my brother and I love him either way.

My dad cheated on my mom years back and had another child. I think she's nine or something now. My mom made us swear to never let my dad know that we know. It's so weird though to think that I have someone related to me, a sister, that I'll never meet.

That's alright though. I have six siblings that are all wonderful and are my best friends.

I have two half siblings. But I never really think of them as half. I just think of them as... my brother and my sister. I come from a family where blood isn't always thicker than water.

I have a half brother and half sister. They were born after me, when my mom was remarried. I've had them in my life and in my home since I was six, so I can barely consider them "half" siblings. My sister looks a lot like my mom so she and I look alike, but my brother looks like my stepdad so we don't look too much alike.

I have a four year old half brother. My dad wasn't really in the right mindset when he got with my brother's mom :P I've been only an child thus far but I found out like a year or two ago because my dad didn't find out until he was about one years old. I don't see him much, especially now that I've moved out of state but I saw him often when I was living with my dad's parents for cosmetology school. He calls me sister, so I think it's cute.

Through my mom, I have one younger half brother, who I argue with whenever I see him. Keep in mind that I'm a twin and I have a full brother (my twin). I did hear some rumors or I remember vaguely that someone told me that my real dad (biological) either has a son or a daughter that's about 10-13 years older than me or something. I really wouldn't know because even after he added me on facebook, he never talked to me and no one on his side of his family would talk to me either. It's like they all added me for the sake of having more friends on facebook, but then again, I only made one attempt at talking with them, so, I don't really know. I keep promising myself that one day, I'll go up to Maine and see him/them.

I only have one full sibling and she just so happens to be my identical twin, but both of our brothers are half. When I was younger my mom never really talked about why my brothers called my dad by his first name rather than dad, but when I hit age 11 or so it finally clicked and my mom told me that they each have a different dad than my sister and I. I've never considered either of them to be only half related, so I never ever call them my half brothers.

Technically I have an older half brother but everyone ignores the fact that he has a different father to me and my sister. My mom was really young when she had him and she soon split up with his biological father. Our dad (my biological dad) has raised him for nearly his whole life, he won't even call his biological dad his dad, to my brother he was just a sperm donor.

I have one full sister, two half brothers, and four step brothers. On top of that I am also the youngest. Having half siblings can be awkward, but I was raised with both of mine. Having and meeting step siblings for the first time that are significantly older than you is more awkward I think.

I've got half brother, but I've never met him. I only know about him that he's my dad's and my mom's ex-best friend's son and he is seventeen, so he was born when my older sister was 2 (he is one year older than me, I've got also eleven years old brother). My sister told me about him, and I think that it's werid, otherwise I woudn't even know that he exists. I don't think that I'll ever meet him, my mom and family from her side don't know anything more about him, and my dad died some years ago, and this boy is taboo in family from his side. Too bad, I always wanted to have older brother :(

Like I said before I have a twin brother and a younger half brother but I think one time, my mom got a hold of my biological dad's mother and my twin bro told me that we have an older (or a younger) half brother and possibly more half siblings thru our dad. I'm just vaguely aware of a half brother thru my biological dad.

I have two "half"-sisters from my mom, but my parents raised me to believe they were fully my sisters so my mom didn't have to explain everything about her abusive ex-husband. While, I knew for a while (I mean they were in my parents wedding photo for crying out loud; my mom just told that is was a vow renewal thing), my mom didn't tell me until I was around 13 and she found out my sisters have a half-brother down in Florida. I still consider them as just my sisters cause they always called my dad "dad" and they go by my last name.

I also have a half-brother from my dad. I always knew he had a different mom than me. He's still my big brother though.

I have 5 "half" siblings, 2 older sisters, 1 older brother, 2 younger brothers, and a younger sister. It goes, older sister - older brother - older sister - me - younger brother - younger brother - younger sister. My first younger brother isn't a half brother. My mother got pregnant pretty young with my older sister so she got married to the man and later had two more children with him, then after a while got divorced then married my father. I am pretty lucky to be around, my mother had her tubes tied after my one older sister then had them untied when she married my father. Then I was born and then my brother. My parents got divorced when I was 5 and my mother remarried a couple years later. My father was single for a while then started to date the 'witch', I liked her a first because I did know her. My father thought that I started to get jealous of her but I really wasn't, of course I wanted him to be happy just not with her. She was very manipulative and cause my father and I to fight, once we all found out she was pregnant with my little brother I was sitting there dumbfounded. Parents are always telling you, you protection but don't take their own advice? WTH! But he was finally coming around, I was fine with my new little brother but when I found out she had gotten pregnant again, I'm not going to lie I was pissed. I was hoping I would be having another brother, but it was a girl. I am very jealous of her, not only is she daddy's 'little' girl she has down syndrome on top of that and I hardly get any time with my dad because of the attention that she needs. I love my siblings and wouldn't trade them for the world, their just a little hard to handle sometimes.
