Fantasy and Sci-fi. I admire authors who can build worlds so effortlessly.

^ I agree with fantasy. I adore authors who can still come up with new fantastical things they can put in the story. Whenever I think of something, it's just a rip-off of something else.

Also I adore people who can write long stories. I find it so difficult.

I don't have a specific genre I wish I could write, but I would lovelovelove one day to write something substantial and meaningful and beautiful. Not just a story about two people falling in love. Idk.

Seriously though, I wish I could do verse, I'm rubbish with anything but prose.

I wish I could write Sci-Fi, female characters, and more than two chapters.

Poetry.
Recently, I've come to the startling revelation poetry is actually pretty damn awesome.
So awesome, in fact, that I'm not going to taint the pool of poetry with anything of mine.
I barely even know what a stanza is.

I agree with poetry. Also, I wish I could write horror, but for some reason I always involuntarily tone down the amount of gore.

All I can pull off are sleazy one night stands that my characters don't even acknowledge

I wish I could write stories based around things, like a certain occupation or something, instead of just relationships. However, all I know how to write is relationships. I'm so uneducated

And meaningful sex scenes. Not that I can write sex scenes at all But I'd like to able to do meaningful ones. But I get too embarassed.

All I ever seem to write is either blatant angst or has some dark or questionable undertone to it.
