Things You Wish People Would Stop Hating On

  • Mexicans. This sounds so racist, but when you live 5 hours from the border in southern california, its so true. I'm tired of hearing so many people blame our problems on them coming in from the border, they just want to have a better life than they had in mexico. We're the ones that decided we would give them welfare and such, and let their kids go to our schools and 'hold the rest of the kids back'. We have to deal with the repercussions, not blame them for using this. Besides, this part of california used to be part of mexico. Just learn spanish and stfu.
Gays. You don't choose it, you just are. Its not a disease, it won't kill you, get over it.
MCR. Who cares if they're considered 'emo'? They're back and better than ever, and I can't wait.
Low cut shirts. Just cause i wear deep v-neck shirts a lot, does not mean I'm a slut. Don't look at me like I'm one, when your shorts are shorter than your underwear. [/rant]

  • Probably said but....

Smokers and people who used drugs.
Don't even get me started on it.

    Ohh, ans suicide.

  • The Keller/Mckay relationship on Stargate Atlantis. I didn't realize how many people hated it until I started reading about it on tvtropes. I actually really liked them together. Sad

  • Hollister and Abercrombie.
It's a middle school fashion that's popular, get over it. You look like an immature little bitch saying "I'm not going to be one of the clones!"

That was terribly mean, but whatever. It's true.

  • Psychologists/Psychiatrists/Counsellors.

    Seriously.

I just...get ticked off by people who have these weird impressions of them.

Either people say "they don't know what they're talking about" or "they're horrible people".

    It hurts.

    these.

'traditional' and fine arts, eg: painting, drawing, etc, especially when people say things like 'i think it's crap because it's not what i'm good at' or whatever. ): what did my oil paints ever do to you? i'm rubbish at 3d work but i'm not going to hate on it because there's so much fantastic work out there, it's not like all 2d work is automatically awful just because yours isn't great.

    people who have sex Shifty

Yes, I lost my v-card when I was fourteen. But I've slept with TWO people. So what if I've only known one for a month...

Just because somebody chooses to have sex earlier/more often/with more people than you, does not make them a slut. Maybe they just enjoy it.
OH AND THIS ONE TOO ESPECIALLY. slut-shaming makes me so angry and there's no excuse for it whatsoever. :/ enjoying sex is not a crime and it doesn't make you 'used goods' or a 'slut' or whatever other disgusting words people enjoy pinnining on others

  • This is more of my school, but...

    Soccer
    and people with emotional problems.

Just because someone has emotional problems does not mean they're "emo." Finger
And soccer/REALfootball is a pretty damn awesome sport, thanks Coffee

  • People who talk about their problems with their doctor.
They aren't searching for attention because they're asking for help with their mental illness.

    Twilight. Shifty

I mean, I'm not a huge fan, but I liked the books to a point. Making fun of it doesn't make you cooler.

Hating on Twitards (ZOMG!TEAMAKLSDJFKLAJDL*rabidfanslobber*) is perfectly okay though. File

  • Justin Beiber File
It's pathetic to see people insulting a teenager, if you don't like him then don't listen to him. I'm tired of seeing on YouTube, 'x number of people that disliked this are Justin Beiber fans'. Or 'that dog sings better than Justin Beiber'. Seriously.

  • Weight.
Fat or skinny everyone gets something about their weight. Being skinny doesn't make you pretty and being fat doesn't make you ugly.

    Mentally challanged people.
I'm so sick of someone picking on them. Last week a kid punched/knocked out a mentally challenged kid in school.
Honestly people who do that are just cowards and pathetic.

  • The Jonas Brothers.
I don't like their music that much either, but I can't hate them, because I don't know them. They've worked really hard to make it this far. File

  • Sleeping around.

I'm not stupid about it, and I really, really love sex, but don't want to settle down with anyone; what's it to you?
    October 4th, 2010 at 02:50am
  • The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, and Justin Bieber.
I'm not a fan of any of them (although I used to obsess over The Jonas Bothers) but there's a point where disliking becomes down right annoying.

Teenage pregnancy. Yeah, it is irresponsible, but it's just as irresponsible if you accidentally get pregnant in your thirties.

Agreed. My sister was pregnant when she was my age, but she's a very responsible woman when it comes to my neice. File

    Yessss.

Also, careers in fine arts. Stop turning up your nose at me; it's a profession just like any other. And no, we're not all going to be starving artists living on the streets. Gah.

Reading. Especially when I was younger, when I told people I liked to read they would just give me a funny look. There's nothing wrong with liking to read. There is nothing wrong with being literate. Facepalm Just because you don't enjoy it doesn't mean other people don't, and it doesn't make you that much cooler than the people who do read for fun.

/this was mostly a few years ago, but still.

I don't mean everyone should be Christian. I just wish people would stop hating on Him.
