The Governor is just very good at appearing normal when he has to. I'm not surprised that Andrea fell for him because he's a good looking guy who provided shelter for her when she's spent so long searching for a place like Woodbury. I've never condemned her from the beginning because if I were her, I would've fell for it, too, hook, line and sinker. But I think once she sees him for who he really is, she'll be out of there in a heartbeat. I do think she should've listened to Michonne earlier, but to be fair, she didn't see what Michonne saw. I'm just waiting for the inevitable showdown between him and Rick. Or better yet, the tri-force of badassery that is Rick, Michonne and Daryl. HOW'S THAT FOR A FIGHT, GUVNA? Weird

I haven't read the comics so I don't really know anything about this Tyreese guy. XD I mean, I've heard bits and pieces about it on tumblr and knew a little bit about the prison and the Governor and Michonne before the S2 finale. other than that, I don't really have an inkling on what's going to happen other than a few articles I've read here and there.

I've also never even considered that Randall came from Woodbury. Think it makes sense.

The situation Merle and Daryl were in at the end has now ticked me off so badly I was almost capable of crunching bricks.

I didn't even start liking Daryl until season two, and then I kind of fell in love with him out of nowhere. He became one of the main reasons why I love the show so much. I mean, I loved it before he came along but I love watching him, I think he just has a lot of depth to him.

I don't think I'll stop watching, but I'll probably feel depressed for awhile. Also, I'm afraid of what's going to happen to him in regards to returning to the group. He's more than likely going to feel so torn between Merle and everyone else. That's not gonna be fun to watch. Sad I JUST WANT DARYL TO BE HAPPY AND FOR HIM TO GET TOGETHER WITH CAROL AND REALIZE THAT THE WHOLE GROUP CARES ABOUT HIM IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK???? Twitch

I also want Andrea to dump the Governor for Michonne. File

Cry this show has so many feels for me. I love how they started the season and ended it on such a soft note, it's nice to know that they can change it up. It's not constant action and drama, there are some soft tones to it.

I am so excited for season 4 I could scream, I didn't at all the last episode to be honest. Andrea wasn't a favorite of mine, I was sad to see her go but I didn't care much, because piddled around too much so it's her own damn fault she died.

I'm kind of happy for that simply because she likes guys who have power so she might have gone after Rick which is unexceptable in my books and kind of gross if you ask me. The only thing I hated about it was she didn't know she was even dying until they started to film the episode. Glenn mazzara didn't even have the balls to tell her like he did everyone else.

Though I guess it makes sense considering he isn't working on the show anymore.

Of course they kill Andrea off just as she becomes bearable. Facepalm If she had died in seasons 1 or 2, I wouldn't have cared less. But I was actually quite sad when she died.

@ never neverland. She didn't know? Twitch

I'm rewatching the finale on demand and oh god Facepalm I forgot how bad I found it and I just... Literally the only thing keeping me watching is the casting call for season four for 'Roy Stark' because he sounds just like Abraham from the book and Abraham was the only thing I've really wanted from this show tehe

I'm pissed Andrea died though because damn I like her (TWD is probably the only franchise where I like every major character) and it's a real shame that they had to screw the character over that bad in order to extend the prison/Governor storyline for an extra season Facepalm I mean the Governor is one of my all time favourite characters and David Morrissey is wonderful but I'm getting so bored of him now Shifty

Well extending the Governors line is probably going to play out more like the comic now. I doubt Rick will lose his hand though, but Michnone might still be raped, and Hershe might be taking the place of Dale. I kind of see Beth or Carol taking Lori's spot in the comics.

I really dislike Carol though, I mean she isn't as bad as she used to be but I just don't like her character. I didn't in the comics either, because that woman was batshit crazy.

I really wish her character could have stuck more to the comics, but they're keeping her and trying to put this relationship aspect onto Daryl - who Norman already said; he an emotional virgin. He doesn't handle being around women very well and would probably prematueely ejaculate then go cry in a corner before he had rough hot sex in the woods.

I get what they're trying to do, but they're good at being friends so they should stick to that. The whole relationship between them seems more like a mother/son thing considering his mom died when he was so young.

Anyway, I'm rambling; so how about those stuff and things?

Robert Kirkman already confirmed Rick won't lose his hand. He regrets doing it in the book because it makes the story telling harder (or something like that? I'd find the Letter he said it in and confirm the reason but my comics aren't with me XD ). They also said they'll be continuing to take a different approach with the storytelling, so I doubt it'll be too much like the comics.

I imagine if they did replace Lori with Beth or Carol we'd see Carol take her place. Just a hunch born out of Emily Kinney being bumped to main cast for next season along with Chad Coleman while McBride hasn't.

I get why they're doing it. It's to play with time because literally if they followed the book they'd risk catching up too quickly. We'd lose Philip faster, race through the Fear the Hunters stuff, have the power struggle at Alexandria, and then be at the current Something to Fear/What Comes After storylines within what two seasons? Maybe three at a push. I'm just worried they're going to try and stretch things like the Hunters storyline for a whole season/half a season and stretch the source material too far (like they did with the stuff at the farm, for example) so we get a slower season in terms of the story actually going anywhere again :/

Personally I hope they can wrap the Philly stuff in the first eight episodes of next season. Then set up the Rick and Abraham/Roy (whatever they're calling that character) stuff for the last eight because damn I love the Rick/Abe at each other's throats stuff because I'm a sucker for a good power struggletehe

Crazy I remember Kirkman saying he regretted it, I just wasn't sure if the show would do it or not. I'm super happy Glenn Mazzarra is off the production team and writing. He seemed like such a arrogant asshole to be honest. Like, I loved the flash backs in season 2. I thought they were completely necessary - it kind of filled in blanks for me. Now if I could have date that Rick was shot and a time on how long he was in a coma that'd be awesome.

The fact that Laurie Holden didn't know Andrea was dying til they began to film the episode seems so dirty to me. I can't believe they'd do that to her.

Melissa McBride has never been part of the main cast, neither was IronE Singleton (T-Dog), and he died - his death broke my heart man. I know he was dying already but... fuck that. If Carol had been watching his back like she was supposed too then he wouldn't have had to sacrifice himself like that.

I have issues with Carol myself, in general.

She doesn't seem so helpless now, but honestly if she died I wouldn't be sad not one bit.

I don't remember where I read this to be honest, but I remember Kirkman saying something about there probably being some Beth/Rick relationship stuff happening eventually. Do you think she'll be taking the place of Andrea in the comics?

Because we know Carl likes her a lot - I don't know how Hershel would feel about it, but in the comics Carl was NOT happy.

I didn't think Carl was that fazed by Rick's other relationships in the book? Like with Jessie, or with Andrea. At least that's how I saw it when I did my research paper on him Shifty He kind of just saw them in bed and went with it? I mean he didn't even know what fucking was because he had to ask Negan 'is that like sex stuff' that one time XD

I personally wouldn't count on a Rick/Beth relationship just yet though (not ruling it out, just don't think it would happen anytime soon). Mostly because the character is seventeen (then again it depends on how big a time skip takes place between S3 and S4) and Rick has only just gotten over Lori. Plus it totally looked like they were setting up Rick/Michonne quite a bit in those last few eps.

Glenn Mazzarra was a decent writer (like in terms of his screenplays damn those are like so well executed on the page) I just don't think he was cut out for show runner.

Also Rick was in a coma for a month (I'm 90% sure I stumbled across that while researching Carl, but also the state of the flowers and his beard confirm that length of time frame, give or take a week).

I've had the conversation with other people, because it would make sense for Lori to move on so quickly. She probably already figuredh e wasn't going to wake up, so she was finding comfort else where. (not that I agree with it but, I don't really blame here - shane was hot).

Meh, I mean it could go either way. I'm not digging the Rick/Michonne thing if they do it, they're too much alike in my book.

He was a good writer, but I don't know - he wasn't cut out for that job title or it's responsibilities.

@ clara oswin oswald I'm kind of hoping the Carol/Tyreese/Michonne thing plays out cause I hate Carol and really want her to die. Someone pointed out that Melissa McBride hasn't joined the main cast on the screen - she is still just starring in the show - while Beth (Emiliy Kinney) has joined the main cast with everyone else.

I think she might die in season 4 which I'll be happy about.

Is there any death you are anticipating in the future seasons? Do you have any characters you're excited about meeting?

I'm looking forward to Roy Stark, 'cause like he's Abraham Ford, just with a way cooler name (like Roy Stark sounds like something I'd name a kid, if I ever intended on having them XD) :

TVLine has confirmed that the AMC smash has issued a Season 4 casting call for the series regular role of “Roy Stark,” who’s described as a former army medic who is deeply haunted by his past — pre- and post-zombie apocalypse. As a result, he’s a bit of a loner, although he maintains a charming/self-deprecating/confident public face. (from this article)

Also looking forward to Negan because of the terrible awful that went down in issue #100, but I won't say no more than that on that front tehe
