Writing Resolutions

I want to actually finish a decent story and maybe post it on Mibba, improve my descriptions (and with that, stop using the same cliched ones over again), and just have general confidence in my writing.

I want to write more MCR fanfiction.

I want to write a BDSM story that isn't a PWP.

I will finish a story. I've been doing serious writing since I was nine (yeah, I know it's not "serious" when you're nine, but what I mean is that's when I started taking my writing seriously), but I have never finished a story in these eight years of writing. Ever. But this year, I think Gaunt will be my first-ever completed story. <3

Oh, and I will write a story that does not revolve around drugs or is drug-related.
...Maybe. It's so hard. :/

Let's hope 2011 is a good year for my writing.

I want to and hopefully will finish writing, editing/revising/proofreading Genocide and finally get it posted on here.
Preferably, I should quit abandoning my series about Marrissa (my OC).
I need to finally figure out what the hell I want to do with Supernatural Tour and its surrounding verse exactly so I can hope to have them finished (or more realistically just around half done, if that.) I keep revising and getting blocked and repeating the vicious cycle.
Complete a story of some sort in both the Doctor Who and X-Files fandoms, and incidentally complete my crossover fic of both those universes.
Keep up the good work with writing oneshots on a semi-regular basis. On a related note, play Trick or Drabble this year if it's done again this year.

Yeah, I've given myself enough so that if I don't get it all done I'll have to (hopefully) at least get some of it done and thus feel accomplised.

I want to promote consistency with my stories.
Not only editing and proofreading or building off of comments,
but also finding more time to write and the inspiration & drive to.

I'm not going to give up as easily when I have writer's block either.

But I won't schedule these type of things; I find that to be virtually useless.
When I have the time and personal need to write, I will do it.
Story schedules will throw off my already shaky balance.

I want to post my OF story.

I want to at least get half way through Fortuna Major by the end of the year.
And hopefully improve my writing along the way.

I was thinking about it today, and I want to write something really out of my comfort zone this year. Thing is, I've gotta find something that makes me so excited and just write it, even if I think I'll ruin the idea.

Finish Edenham.
Finish Of Rhinos & Griffins too, and not take more than a year with it like I've done with Edenham.
Start some of the ideas that I've had forever.
Write a proper long story involving characters that are not teenagers.
Try something more descriptive, even if it's only a one-shot.

I want to develop different writing styles.
Also, I'd like to read more. I don't get to and it is terrible.
I also want to write a story that DOES NOT involve mental illnesses.

I need to succeed in my crazy idea of doing NaNoWriMo every month for a year and being rewarded with twelve shiny new novels on November 30th.

I need to try and write every day, even if it's just a little bit.

Instead of saying to myself, "That's a good idea, I'll make that a one-shot later," I'll write that one-shot right away, or if that's not practical, as soon as possible.

Every song that even sparks the slightest idea becomes a story or a one-shot!

I want to actually finish some of the longer fics I've started, including two Candyfics from like, 2009 and an MCR one I started recently.
I want to start and finish my epic Olli/Peter Crashdiet fic.
I want to write more in all my fandoms, rather than becoming so engrossed in one in particular and abandoning everything from the other fandoms while I write in it.
I want to do some crack pairings and crossovers, [like maybe Cat Casino/Zillah from Lost Souls [which has kind of sat in the back of my head for a long time now] and maybe some more in the way of Cat/Peter London [which has been in one fic, but I want to make it the main pairing one day].

I want to get a least half way through It's All in the Stars and Kaleidoscopic.
I also want to make the updates come out more than once every few months and for them to be good.

I want to finish Star of David.

Have some more confidence in my writing.
Post more of my stories on Mibba.
Write a chaptered story and post it on Mibba. Excluding my NaNo novels (and a 10 word for chapter/ten chapters story), it's been a long time since I've posted a chaptered story on Mibba.
Write some longer oneshots.
Become a better writer.

I really want to write a story where people fall in love with it and the characters in it.

Write a chapter story, possibly even a novel. I think I have a good idea (for once) for my story.
