What Is the Meaning of Life?

In truth, the meaning of life is entirely an opinionated topic. Each and every one of us will have a different view on it. Some people think they have hit the nail on the head, so to speak, but that's just what they think. Like I said before, its all a matter of what you personally think. My personal view is that we are all here to fulfill some purpose, however obscure it may be. Once we fulfill that purpose, we just kind of drift off and are forgotten. Again, it all depends on how you look at it.

Seeing as I do believe in fate, I believe that every one has an individual purpose in life. Something to work towards, to accomplish. However, I also believe that we have the power to change this. To rebel against our purpose or to have none at all.

Everyone has a different purpose, and everyone has the ability to change it.

Therefore, the meaning of life changes to each individual. To me, it's to create and influence. To some, it may be to destroy and go down known.

The meaning of life is simply to learn.

Like most of the answers here, I would say that life has no meaning. Life is simple, really. You are born and you die. Everything that happens in between that time is all up to you. Each individual can give themselves their own reasons to live, but basically, life itself is just natural and has no supreme meaning. :P

I guess the meaning of life is probably what you make it. Personally I think that's love, in whatever form that takes - travel, family, books, lovers, food, God, charity, whatever. If there's going to be meaning in your life, it's probably what you love. A life not loved is the only life I would say is wasted.

I think the meaning of life is getting through obstacles and each one getting tougher and tougher until you can finally be satisfied with the progress that you made. The obstacles can be anything from learning how to love someone and accepting people as they are to getting a good career and being prosperous.

I don't think life has any meaning. xD I think you can assign it whatever meaning you'd like--for me, I just want to have fun and eat pizza and experience as much as I can while I'm here--but I don't think life has any inherent meaning. That's why I love life so much--because it's so utterly pointless.

I don' t think that there's one individual meaning in life--there are many. I believe it is to learn, and to just...live your life to the fullest, because it could be finished at an unexpected moment.
