It's good to see another anime fan. There really aren't that many people (that I know of) on mibba. ^_^

    My top 10:
    1. Monster
    2. Serial Experiments Lain
    3. Cowboy Bebop
    4. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (And also the original FMA)
    5. Wolf's Rain
    6. Ima, Soko Ni Iru Boku (AKA Now And Then, Here And There)
    7. Ergo Proxy
    8. Death Note
    9. Darker Than Black (Both seasons 1 and 2)
    10. Hellsing Ultimate

And right now I'm watching Mushishi. So far it's really good. It's got a very original story, and the main character (in the English dubs) has the same voice actor who plays Roy Mustang in FMA. xD

As for recommendations, seeing as you're a fan of Death Note, I'd really recommend Monster. They're both very good animes with similar themes, only in Monster the supernatural element is taken entirely out and by doing so makes it seem much more real that those events could really happen. It also paced much differently, instead of bringing you to the edge of your seat with every episode it slowly builds suspense over the course of many, many episodes until it reaches the climax, with an ending much better than Death Note's, IMO. It is also a great deal more philosophical, and really makes you question who are the villains and if the hero is really doing a good thing. Just... without spoiling anything, it rightly deserves my #1 spot as my favorite anime of all time.

Let's see... Darker Than Black? That's another great one. A recommendation I can give for that would be Ergo Proxy. They're hard to compare, but they're both great.

Ghost In The Shell... I've been meaning to watch that one, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Cowboy Bebop is one you should see... among other things, both those two and the first season of Darker Than Black had all it's music composed by Yoko Kanno. Amazing stuff.

Favorite character from Darker Than Black would have to be Hei, and for Fullmetal Alchemist I'd have to say Hoenhiem. I didn't really like him in the original anime, but in Brotherhood after they really went into his story it was hard not for me to like him. My second favorite would have to be either the original Greed, or Edward Elric. For Death Note.... L. There's no competition there for me.

Soul Eater all the way! My friend recommended it to me and now I'm hooked! The chracters are just so cool, and I love the overall premise of the story. People who turn into weapons? That's just plain awesome. I've never heard of someone using their blood as a weapon. It's just a funny, action-y, unique anime.

Full Moon O Sagashite is by far my favorite anime. I definintely reccommend checking this one out.

Some of my other favorites are Inuyasha, Full Metal Alchemist [both the original one and Brotherhood], Karin, Princess Resurrection, and Pokemon. I watch a ton more, but those are just the ones I prefer over others.

Ash swearing? Holy crap, that makes him so much better. Mr. Green
    Anyway, so this isn't spam:

    Pokemon-Meep. Been a faithful Poke-fanatic since...five, was it?
InuYasha (because no one can really tell I'm on an InuYasha-induced trip now. Coffee)-Been watching since I was seven.

Fruits Basket-I just like it. *coughKYOcough* What? I didn't say anything.

Ouran High School Host Club-Meeps. Just fun for me.

Death Note-Do-do-do...I can't really explain this one either.

... There's probably quite a few more that I forgot to mention. Oh, well, it'll come to me soon. Or not. Hmm.

I'd list the whole list if I had time. Been awhile since I've last seen anime...Shame on me!

Detective Conan needs an honourable mention as well as Lovely Complex, which is the only ''girly'' show I've seen, swear! XD
