I really hope you mean Hellsing Ultimate. I liked the original too but once they got to the point where the anime skewed from the manga... especially the ending, wasn't too good.

I will definitley say that the original Hellsing had, by far, the best soundtrack in any anime ever, right up there with Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, and Yoko Kanno's other works, but.... story-wise, animation-wise, and as far as just sticking to the manga... the Ultimate OVA series is really, really better.

I have a huge list of animes that I love and mangas too. I like Naruto, Dragonball Z, Wolf's Rain, Fruits Basket, Ouran HIgh School Host Club, Yu Yu Hakusho, Inuyasha, Ranma 1/2, Samurai Champloo, Trigun, Kaikan Phrase, Pokemon, Rurouni Kenshin, Tenchi Muyo, Outlaw Star, and Hellsing. <3

I am honestly surprised at the amount of people mentioning Hellsing, but not Hellsing Ultimate. It's because it's an OVA series instead of a standard anime, isnt it? xD

I watch Fairy Tail faithfully. I've tried watching Naruto, Avatar: The Last Airbender and a few other shows, but for some reason I couldn't get into them like I did with Fairy Tail.

Angel Beats and An Ugly Yet Beautiful World aren't bad. I've only seen a couple episodes of each but yeah, they're good.

I need to get back into anime. I miss it.

Out of hundreds of anime I've watched, I'd have to say that Air Gear, Black Blood Brothers, Black Cat, Bleach, Chrome Shelled Regios, Durarara!!, Heroic Age, Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn!, Kaze no Stigma, Kyou Kara Maou, Naruto (& Naruto Shippuuden), Ouran High School Host Club, Sekirei, Uragiri wo Boku no Namae wo Shitteru, Vampire Knight, The Wall Flower, and Wolf’s Rain are my favorites so far.

My favorite anime movies are Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away.

I'm liking Dead man Wonderland a lot now. It's kinda gory at times, but it has an interesting story line.

I rarely watch or like animes but Cowboy Bebop, FLCL and Fullmetal Alchemist are the exception, every time.

My new favorite anime of all time is Hunter x Hunter.

Why? Coz it's very inspiring and I look forward to all of the development in each and every character.
Gon was the reason why I fell in love with the whole thing in the first place. The way he settled things with Hanzo in the final phase of the Exam made me laugh so hard that it made me eventually love the anime. I also love the other protagonists. Love love looooove this! The adventures, twists and turns, drama, friendships (for me, I'm more on the ships ohohoho-) and just... I love everything Hunter x Hunter. The two anime adaptations and manga, I just love 'em all! Go Togashi-sensei!

The first anime I loved: Ginban Kaleidoscope.

This was the reason why I fell deeply in love with anime. The characters and their development in the story was so fast-paced and cute that I was soooo sad on the last episode.

Series that made me go to the dark side: Gravitation

Maki Murakami-dono's most famous stories. Damn. What can I say about this? Ever since I bought the first volume of the manga, Gravitation's the one I've been obsessing those days. It's the reason why I love shonen-ai in the first place. UUUUGHHHH-- I love her so much. Best mangaka in the world.

Others:

Nurarihyon no Mago - ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG I love everything about this series. The heirs, the plot, the yokai... the hotness, of course ;D

Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi - Another one of Nakamura Shungiku's masterpieces, I totally fell in love with this coz of the 'love' between Onodera and Takano and I look forward to the day that Onodera would eventually admit to himself that he's in love and was always in love with Takano. I also love the other stories (or cases) in the series.

Hetalia - Fun, hilarious, funny... Everything's pretty much mixed with this anime. I also love the historic references. I learn a thing or two from this anime. <3
