I haven’t yet! I’m pretty terrified of breaking one actually now that I think about it. I wasn’t athletic when I was growing up lol I pretty much stayed away from doing cartwheels or backflips or sports
Then, when I was sort of forced to be athletic when I joined the Military, I sort of had the
chance to break one (I know how weird that sounds but it’s true) because they did this combat fighting in basic training. Anyone who participated in it usually came out with a broken arm or shoulder. It got pretty vicious which was ironic since if you broke a bone or got injured, then you’re pretty much considered inept and your chances of getting out Basic Training go down. My platoon I was in kept trying to pressure me to fight because they didn’t have enough females who wanted to do it, but I wanted to get out of Basic Training on time and I wasn’t as “rah rah” as them. (I only joined the Military to be support and get education benefits, not to be GI Jane). I’m glad I didn’t do it in the end, because I hated all the females I was with in my platoon (they were
super clique) and I’m glad I didn’t let them pressure me to get myself beat up just because they said so.
