I remember this so vividly omg. I was about 14/15 and I went to the football with my dad and listen, I get really into the football and I'd sworn around friends before this (so technically this isn't the first time I swore but it was probably around the same age idk) and I just got so worked up and went "THE REF'S A [redacted]" and my dad just stared at me for like 5 seconds and then went "yes, he is. Let's not tell your mum about this" and that's the story of how I swore in front of my dad and got away with it. Now I swear in front of both of my parents regularly
