    What are your teachers like?
Honestly, it depends on the teacher. A lot of the science teachers at my school know what they're talking about, but they can't really explain it well. A lot of the fine arts teachers, as much as I hate to admit it, pick favorites - which is alright... when you're one of the favorites. But then there are just some teachers are just amazing. They make class fun, make the subject a little easier to understand, and are great story tellers - there are a few of them in every department I think, but a lot of them tend to fall in the social studies department.

What are the trends at your school?
Merp. I don't know why and I don't know what it means. People just like saying it. It's annoying, catchy, and... a little funny.
This is typically a trend among freshman/sophomores, but about a good chunk of the girls in those grades wear booty shorts (and then the upperclassmen are the only ones that get yelled at for wearing them...), especially the freshman.

What are some of the students like?
Mmm... well, at my school we don't really have a clique problem. Some of the jocks are brainiacs, some of the brainiacs are in art, a few art students are in band, a lot of band students do journalism, journalism students do choir, choir kids do theatre, some theatre kids are in woodshop... and so-on. We're all pretty open to everybody else, but at the same time we all like to tease and make fun of everybody.

It seems that the "freshman" get worse every year. All of my teachers say that it's just us getting older, or that people say that every year. But last year we had like... four or five fights in a span of three days. And guess what? All of the girls - and two guys - who were fighting were freshman.

    What's your school's reputation?
The whore school, since the day-care is open to the students. But it's not my school's girls who are getting knocked up. The district sends all of the other girls in the district that get pregnant to my school, then we get dubbed as the school where everyone is sleeping around with everyone else. But we're also known for our amazing theatre department.

    What's the population?
1,500 I think? That was the population my freshman year, I think, and it roughly changes every year, but not by much.

Private School? Uniforms? Same Sex School?
Nope, public. Any gender. No uniforms, thank God, but this year they're really cracking down on the dress-code.

    School issues? School Punishments?
We have a really big tardy issue at my school. A new policy this year, at least for the first few weeks, is to have teachers shut & lock their doors right after the bell rings. Any student who is then still in the hallway has to go get a pass from somewhere/someone that they haven't told us - and you have to have your student I.D. with you, otherwise you can't get a pass into class - and then go back to class. Anyone who is still in the hallway fifteen minutes after the bell is sent to the cafeteria (which I don't know how that's going to work during the lunch block...) and lectured throughout the rest of the block about, "the importance of getting to class on time." So basically, you get I.S.S. for the block. But what I don't get is why "punish" students who obvisouly don't want to be in class by giving them a, "free get out of class" card...?
We only have one way into the student-parking lot. Pretty big issue, if you ask me, and I'm a bus rider.

    What are your teachers like?
Most of my teachers are pretty strict when it comes to turning in things. For example, my biology teacher gives you 50% of your grade if it's turned in 2 minutes late, which is understandable but still completely not... pleasant. My history teacher doesn't care if you've turned in two weeks late. He really doesn't, but he's really strict on presentations and oral reports. My other teachers are pretty moderate, except my computer teacher. He was always out to get me and constantly criticised my photoshop work when I did it precisely as the tutorial instructed me. But whatever!

What are the trends at your school?
Of course, everyone would say Yolo, and occasionally Merp. It's funny because I used to say Merp when I was around 10 years old, but now the word disgusts me for its overuse. Also the super neat yet 'pretty' handwriting in girls. It's generic, and you can never tell apart their handwriting. Also, the boys in my classes like faking orgasms in class and the teacher doesn't notice or care. My Literature teacher just chuckled when he caught a pair doing it once. It annoys me though—especially in the middle of an exam.

What are some of the students like?
Most of the are usually very lazy, ignorant and crass. Constantly talking crap about the other person who they were just hanging out with a few minutes ago. Also, they're very judgemental. The girls, for example, have their standards for their friends. If you're curvy, have not-so-pallid skin, and dark and not silky straight hair, you are immediately ostracised. I mean, they'd talk to you but never want to form a friendship with you. So of course I was one of these outcasts.

    What's your school's reputation?
It generally has a good reputation. We've had a few teachers fired in the past. One of my science teachers was due to sending a student a racy text message. Some say that it wasn't true and just a cruel hoax. But it was a pretty odd teacher so it could've been true for all I know. We're notorious for having kids that get high and drunk all the time, and having sex at age 12. Kids would sneak out of school and go to one of the abandoned houses near our school and get kinky there. Ugh.

    What's the population?
We have 200-300 students. Not very much, I know. It's a very small school but we're expecting to have more students transfer here in the future years. I tend to like small schools, but it's a disadvantage for the people always getting into drama since gossip spreads like wildfire due to the small population.

Private School? Uniforms? Same Sex School?
I've been to several private schools in the past with uniforms but my current school doesn't do that. They threatened to give us uniforms though to impede the bullying but everyone freaked out so I don't think that'll be happening any time soon.

    School issues? School Punishments?
Like I said, a lot of students have sex and stuff, and the whole drinking and smoking and selling weed thing. Also some of the teachers need to teach better. I didn't understand anything at all in Geometry class last year due to the new teacher we had.

    What are your teachers like?
They're mostly alright. Like most schools, there are some that I would consider better than others, and some that are below par, but they generally get the job done. There also aren't very many, which I think makes it easier to form better connections with them. I've had a few teachers multiple times when they've taught different classes, and I think that's nice. I could easily name a few favorites of mine, a couple older teachers that are completely hilarious along with ones who I think are just genuinely good at teaching, like my statistics teacher.

What are the trends at your school?
There was actually a page about this in my school's yearbook my sophomore year. Some stuff has changed since then, and there are always the phrases that catch on for a while ("YOLO", "legit", etc.), but these were pretty accurate for that year: girls wearing multiple rings, baja sweatshirts, flannel shirts, nose rings, snapback hats, north face backpacks, leggings, uggs, north face jackets, and L.L. Bean boots.
I guess I'll have to just wait and see what the "trends" are this year.

What are some of the students like?
Eh, alright for the most part. I think the student "clique" breakdown is pretty similar to what I imagine is at every other school, but there seems to be an increasing number of "emo" kids, or just the kids who dye their hair every week and pierce every possible place on their face. I mostly stick to my small group of friends, which could probably be stuck in the "drama" group, since we're all on stage crew. Pretty average.

    What's your school's reputation?
Not very good when compared to other schools in the area. We've had loads of pregnancies in the past couple of years, and I swear nearly everyone does drugs or drinks. Apparently we have the largest active alumni association in the country, but they might just be telling us that.

    What's the population?
I think it was around 650 last year, pretty small. It's gotten progressively smaller every year that I've been there, so odds are there will be less this year. That's what you get in tinytown, Maine.

Private School? Uniforms? Same Sex School?
Public school. There's been talk of uniforms but I doubt it'll ever happen. Both sex school.

    School issues? School Punishments?
One thing that I personally find is a problem is that every year that my grade has been at the high school, they've changed the bell schedule at least a little. My sophomore and junior years didn't change much, they just changed when advisory is, but this year they've completely changed everything, which I'm not looking forward to. From 4x4 (which I enjoyed) to "waterfall". mrgun
As for punishments, every year it seems like there's one thing that they say they're going to buckle down on (tardies, skipping advisory, roaming the halls) but it always seems to die down by winter.

Can't wait to graduate this year.

    What are your teachers like?
They're mostly okay. Some of them are really great and put loads of attention and effort into making sure we get our work done to a brilliant standard, and do the best we can. Others are just okay, but some of them (especially the Maths and Science departments) are very grouchy and are kind of renowned for being a little unpleasant.

What are the trends at your school?
Most of the school wears uniform, but the trend lately has been to try and get away with tight 'uniform' trousers, or coloured belts, simple stuff like that. Quite a few people have been trying to get away with wearing black trainers instead of black dress shoes.

What are some of the students like?
The majority of the younger years (primarily those in years seven to nine) get too big for their boots and think that the older years won't smack down on them like the hand of God, but we will, because they're incredibly annoying. Quite a lot of students do get very cocky too, for some reason.

    What's your school's reputation?
We're kind of famous for being a bit rubbish. We're a sports college whose students are so disinterested in sport that we usually can't even scrape together a full football team over the whole school, let alone one per year. We're also quite well known for not always producing the best results ever, at both GCSE and A Level, but we do better than the other school in the town.

    What's the population?
There's probably around five hundred students in the main school itself, then a further sixty to ninety over both years of the sixth form. I think the biggest the school's ever been is now, and we have around six hundred students maximum.

Private School? Uniforms? Same Sex School?
Mixed sex public school with uniforms for years seven through eleven. The sixth form aren't required to wear uniform but we have to carry school ID and wear 'appropriate' clothing.

    School issues? School Punishments?
We had an issue with failing OFSTED inspections for a few years running back when I first started there, but we passed for the first time in years about five years back, now. The school is pretty lenient with punishments -detentions are fifteen minutes each, and a maximum of four can be given each week before an exclusion- I've been there for seven years now and I've never known anyone to be actually expelled.

    What are your teachers like?

Well, what can I say? We have some quite interesting teachers...some of them are okay, I guess.

What are the trends at your school?

You know how some people wear tights that have worn out a bit so they aren't tight anymore? Well, that's what's in at my school at the moment. Baggy tights. Yeah, seriously.

What are some of the students like?

There's a good reason why I hang around my older stepbrother and his friends. Everyone else is just feral. And it's getting worse.

    What's your school's reputation?

We have this reputation of having a bunch of gangs running rampant. This is somewhat exaggerated. Admittedly, going out the front gate leads to the ghetto area of the town while the back gate leads to the rich area, so I guess I can kinda see where the reputation comes from.

    What's the population?

800-900 kids. And the school was only opened a couple of years ago with the expectation that there'd only ever be a maximum of 680 kids there ever, so there's already three demountable rooms at the back of the school.

Private School? Uniforms? Same Sex School?

Public (government-owned school, that is; I know it's different in the UK), with uniforms for everyone. Co-ed. Only about 50% of people wear the uniform, though.

    School issues? School Punishments?

Supposedly there's a high rate of suspensions, but I have a hard time believing that, to be honest. Mostly it's just these little cards the bad kids have to carry round and have signed by their teachers (OH NO! God forbid they might get paper cuts).

    What are your teachers like?
Interesting. I like some of them, and I hate others. With science, it's a hit or miss. English is mostly good, and history is awesome. Language is the same. Gym class is, uh, strange. But it was okay.

What are the trends at your school?
It depends what clique you belong to. If you are in with the rednecks, big boots and camo. With the preps, brands are the name of the game. The outcasts, anything goes. The weirder the better.

What are some of the students like?
This is a bad question to ask me. On my bus, which mostly consists of freshmen and sophomores, everyone talks about sex, drugs or music. Mostly everyone can be pretty rude here. It's awful. It's hard to ferret out new friends for me because I hate being disliked off the get-go.

    What is your school's reputation?
We do drugs. We have massive amounts of sex. We populate the entire state of New Hampshire with our libido. Just kidding, not me. But our problem is pregnancy. A few years ago it was gangs. In fact, bandanas are specifically outlawed. When I was in middle school, the coolest thing to do after school, since it was located downtown and was within easy walking distance, was chill out at the library. I can't tell you how many cruisers I see around there.

    What's the population?
We have anywhere between 1,000-1,500 kids. My class currently has a little over 400 people in it, and we're the biggest.

Private school? Uniforms? Same Sex School?
Public. Nope, and if we did most of the population wouldn't wear them anyways, no matter how many detentions they were threatened with. And I'm not sure half the population of my school could survive if the genders were separated.

    School issues? School punishments?
Pregnancy is our game, and Saturday detentions are our game. Those two aren't related, but the principal and all of the assistants tend to hand out a lot of detentions and clothing violations. We also had security doors put in last year. Good thing, because we had a crazy guy running around with a gun on Valentines day.

    What are your teachers like?
It all depends on the teacher and the day. So far this year, I like every teacher by my Global teacher just because he's an annoying twat. Most are nice. And my English teacher has major OCD.

What are the trends at your school?
PINK seems to be a popular brand. I don't blame all the girls for wearing their clothes, they're actually really cute. These ugly clogs shitthings. They're horrible and most girls waltz around in them like they're hot. Duct tape on your backpack. Most girls wear bottom eyeliner and ugly eyeshadow. They math their eye shadow to their colors. If they wear pink, their eye shadows is pink, etc. And most are sparkly. And not pretty sparkly, I'm talking I-bought-this-eyeshadow-at-a-store-ten-year-olds sparkly. It's just ugly. And most of the colors are neon. Ugh, gross. Skanky tattoos are popular, too. You know, those cheap, scum bag looking tattoos? Yeah. Those.

What are some of the students like?
It a way, my school as cliques. You have the over acheiving cunts whose parents work at the school, the tool 'jocks' and the group of whores. But that's just in my grade. Other than those three groups, most people are all right. You have your gangsters, your country boys and girls (which makes most of them) and then the stuck up cunts who try to be perfect.

    What's your school's reputation?
We're all about drugs. And greasy fat whores. <-- Words of other schools.

    What's the population?
There are about 200 kids in each grade, so 2,400 something kids.

Private School? Uniforms? Same Sex School?
    Public school.

    School issues? School Punishments?
Not really. We're all generally nice to each other. You have the occasional fist fights and pregnant girls. But STDs are a main issue. Everyone is giving each other a disease and it's nasty.

    Teachers are awesome

trends are really strange at my school, always short shorts where the butts hang out

Students are really idiotic and all American pride. God i hate it

our high school is the best academic in the state of MN

Our population is 1800 for all four years

Public schools, and it's definitely not same-sex

our issues is that people don't really give others a chance and people are really stereotypical and i hate it, a lot.

I'm going to do this about my old high school because...yeah...

    What are your teachers like?
Pretty laid back and easy to talk to. Since I live in a tight knit community everybody knows everyone anyways...even now in community college I knew some of my teachers beforehand. I still keep in contact with some of them because I either know their kids or they want to know how college is coming along.

What are the trends at your school?
Oh god. Rednecks. Everything camouflage. The girls even dressed in camouflage and if you didn't you were OUT (I definitely was ousted) and the girls pretty much didn't give a damn about their appearance and came to school dressed in sweatpants, messy buns and no makeup on a daily basis. Except a few of us and the black girls...black girls be looking fierce!

What are some of the students like?
Not really varied. Kind of like a social class ladder. Since sports required a fee to play because my school was broke, only the rich kids could play. Then there was the theatre/band nerds who kept to themselves and disclosed everyone on the basis they were being judged (not the case. At all.), the rednecks, and then the outcasts who were your druggies, goodie-two shoes, and anyone like goths, punks, emo's, scene, etc..

    What's your school's reputation?
Being monsters on the playing field >:) I have to hand it to my school, they're still one of the best teams in the state.

    What's the population?
    Like 1,000.

Private School? Uniforms? Same Sex School?
Nope, just good ol' public school.

    School issues? School Punishments?
No real issues except drugs probably. We'd have drug dogs come in on a routine basis. In School Suspension (ISS) was probably the biggest punishment.

They are pretty cool :) . They know that we've got a life outside school, and they're treat us like normal poeple, not like a bunch of idiots. Well, one teacher is psyhopath, but if you're sitting on his classes and pretend that you're not exist then it's ok.

What are the trends at your school?

In my school are too many different students to talk about trends (:

What are some of the students like?

Sone people with a lof ot piercings on face, some of them have tunnels (?) in their ears, and there are even people with pink, bue and green hair! :D
The best thing is that there are also nerds, metalheads, sporty types, emo... It' just big combination of of all kinds of people

    What's your school's reputation?

Well it's well-known school on Warsaw, but everybody from this place are considered as weird. Oh well xD

    What's the population?

    About 300 students.

Private School? Uniforms? Same Sex School?

Art high school :) . I'm in journalism and film class ^.^. This means that I'll also have to make a movie :))

    School issues? School Punishments?

Like in each school. Alcohol and drugs. And the tradition of my school is that each year a least one girl is pregnant Rolling Eyes

    What are your teachers like?
So far, my four teachers have had a broad range of characteristics and teaching methods. One trend I've noticed thus far are they all pay specific detail to their lessons and seem to remember everything brought up and covered in the past classes, which I respect. Yet they do tend to baby the students, since my classmates seem to need a lot helping hints and such.

What are the trends at your school?
A great deal of independence, environmentally and financially. 75% of the population commutes, and many of them come from residential homes that my school offers, so there's a lot less dependence on the cushion of a secured living situation.

What are some of the students like?
To a degree... shallow. Everybody seems very respectful and minds their own business, but so far, I haven't been impressed by anybody's knowledge or personality traits. I've met some really great people though, with a huge diversity of backgrounds, and I appreciate the individualism most of them give off.

    What's your school's reputation?
XD Probably for being silly & excited. But also for law.
