@Mrs. Whirly Oh sweet! Did you get a 3 day pass or just the single day? I got my 3 day pass the second they announced GD were playing. Lol. Cuz I'm really looking for someone to hang out with for the weekend. There's some pretty cool bands in the lineup this year.

And yeah, the Playboy version of the video is actually the best one. The first one grossed me out. I didn't like how out of it the chick's looked. Like they were forced to be there. In the Playboy one they actually danced around and had fun.

I just got the one day. My sister and her fiance will be coming as well so that'll be interesting. And I like the PB version too.

Why are people calling what Billie did at the i heart radio concert a "meltdown"?

That wasn't a fucking meltdown. Does anyone not know this man? Facepalm

I know right. That's pretty classy by our standards lmfao

it's cracking me up. When I saw them at Lollapolooza he did the same thing, only the people at Lollapolooza don't suck and let them play until they were ready to quit.

I saw that a while age. The exact statement: Billie Joe is seeking treatment for substance abuse. We would like everyone to know that our set was not cut short by Clear Channel and to apologize to those we offended at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas. We regretfully must postpone some of our upcoming promotional appearances.

I imagine it to be linked directly to what happened at the iHeartRadio Festival. Perhaps it was the last straw for him. Judging from the statement, i don't think he was a bit impressed with himself.

So did they get cut short because of Usher or because of substance abuse?

They clearly got cut short for other artists, I think that apology is total bogus. People who were at the concert posted about Green Day having a short set. It seems Green Day's PR team is just trying to clean up a mess, which whether or not BJ has a substance abuse problem, I think the band had every right to be mad about the set situation.

Yeah, to me, watching that video it seemed that they were pissed at getting cut real short, and I think that's fair enough. I mean, Mike smashes his bass too, and Tre walks off looking pissed. Just because Billie has the mic and is the frontman doesn't mean he has a problem or anything. It just seems to me (from what I've seen in the past hour) is that he got angry and therefore has a drug problem.

Maybe he really does have a problem. I mean, we don't really know what goes on in his life. It will suck if they can't play at voodoo or any other show, and yes when I saw that they might have to cancel stuff I was upset because I spent a lot of money but...if he really does have a problem I want him to get better, not only for himself but for his family as well.

And if this is just a lie so that their label won't look bad then I will be fucking pissed off.

I'm not saying I think he went to rehab is a lie; I think the " We would like everyone to know that our set was not cut short by Clear Channel" is the bogus part. There set was clearly cut short, and to pass it off as crazy Billie just being high/wasted is lame.

If he really had a substance abuse problem, it was something that was ongoing, not just what happened at the iheartradio, so it's hacking me off that they're making that part of the apology. Substance abuse isn't a gimmick, and throwing someone's personal problems into the limelight when they're trying to get help isn't cool.

I agree. People are saying that they don't think he's going to rehab because they said "treatment" but who knows.

He's instagraming photos of his dog, so I doubt he went to an inpatient, rehab facility.

I can't help but think that if this happened a few years ago no one would fucking care. I mean Billie's done worse and gotten absolutely no press attention. It must've been a really slow newsday or something.

I think the whole bit about their set not being cut short was total bullshit. You can plainly see in that video that they cut the monitors off. Rolling Eyes

I am glad that Billie is getting some help. I think we all know that he has a drinking problem. He comes off as a functioning alcoholic to me. He can still put on a show but can do that completely smashed.

So I'm just hoping he uses this time to really get his mind right and put things in perspective.

So what are everyone's favourite songs from Uno?

Mine are in order XD :
    Rusty James
    Stay The Night
    Fell For You
    Kill The DJ
    Nuclear Family
    Let Yourself Go
    Loss Of Control
    Sweet 16
    Angel Blue
    Carpe Diem
    Oh Love
    Troublemaker

I am absolutely in love with this album. I can't get over how amazing and...perfect it is. I didn't think they could top American Idiot, which was always their masterpiece in my eyes but this one just blew it out of the water!
    Cannot wait for Dos!
My only critisism is the videos for the songs. I haven't liked any of them at all, just like I disliked all the videos from 21CB except for 21 Guns. I think from now on I am not going to watch any of their new music videos, Boulevard of Broken Dreams and Longview will always be my two favourites.
