Game of Thrones is an adaptation of George RR Martin’s epic fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire.

It basically follows a number of major houses in the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros where winter and summer both last years and years. As threats rise from the north and across the sea whilst seven noble families squabble about being King when Lord Eddard Stark uncovers the truth about the heirs to the Iron Throne.

    Basically I read the first book about half a year ago, read part of the second book and now the series has reignited my interest in the whole thing. I really like Ned, and Jaime, and Bran XD I also really hate what happened to Lady ;__;

I LOVE that show! I'm really interested in reading the books, but I can't afford them right now. Cry I'd have to say Daenerys Targaryen is one of my favorite characters, along with Ned Stark. I think Tyrion is pretty cool, too. I absolutely hate Cersei and Joffrey! Grr as of now, at least.

I was hoping that Lady would have been set free, but he actually...yeah. 'Twas very sad, but the series is so good!

I was bad with buying them, my money was given to me and within three hours I'd traipsed around London trying to find and subsequently buying them all XD

I swear though, I'm the only person not completely sold on Dany. I love her story and I think Emilia Clark is so pretty and portrays her so well considering how difficult some of those scenes must be too shoot but there is something about that character which drives me insane for some reason XD

Lady feels like nothing now though in the great scheme of it all Twitch

I get really angry at all the Lannisters, minus Tyrion.
Also, I really need to read this series.
    XD

Honestly I only started watching this because of Sean Bean.
    The guy is badass.

Tyrion Lannister is the reason to watch this show. His lines are just astounding with each episode. Arya Stark is a close second; she's perfect as the little tomboy who could.

Joffrey needs to go trip in a lake or something. I get mad when I see him or hear that name. Talk about a brat!

The kid playing Joffrey is doing a perfect job XD he was the only character I loathed and his portrayal is making me want to pummel the character repeatedly in the face more than ever. Kudos to him for making Joffrey so awful.

I can't wait til they adapt ASOS, just so I can see him get it Coffee

    I utterly adore GoT! ♥
I've read all the books! And the TV show has made my life.
Jaime is seriously the best thing that has ever happened to me.
Well, maybe not, but still. He's glorious.
    Jaime/Brienne Shippers FTW! ^.^
I absolutely love calling anyone naive/silly 'a summer child'.
Yea, tis wonderful. That is all. Cool

My ex-boyfriend/best friend got me into it a few months ago. I honestly have to start watching again because I've lost track of time! I'm definitely planning on watching it in the summer.

I started watching from the first series, and then I started reading the books. Just recently, since series two began and I started reading the second book, I've got so into it. I absolutely love it.

Last night's episode, just...Twitch It was amazing!

Episode 9. Oh dear, my comparison is that it's almost, almost as awesome as the battle at Helm's Deep (Lord of the Rings reference). However, thanks Martin, now every battle needs wildfire, purely just because it's so perfect on screen.

I love this show and I love how they've adapted it to TV. I bought Game of Thrones a few weeks ago and have almost finished it and I'm actually quite surprised how close the first season is to the book.
Me and my boyfriend both agree that Tyrion Lannister makes that show.
As soon as this season is over and I finish Game of Thrones, I'll be onto reading a Clash of Kings.
And I thought episode 9 was a brilliant episode.

I love this show, I can't believe that season two will already be ending tomorrow.

Book-wise I've just started on A Feast for Crows. I have to say that A Storm of Swords was my favorite so far (even if it did make me want to throw the book across the room on quite a few occasions - one in particular), so I'm really excited to see them adapt that next season, but at the same time kind of dreading what's to come. I've heard that they'll actually be splitting it into two separate seasons.

Ah, Tyrion. Tyrion is such a backbone of the show, his character is played so well.
Sansa and Arya as well, I think have really shown the depth of their characters this season.

Though, has to be said, for all the bigger stuff that goes on, my very favourite part of the last episode has to be "Two quick deaths?" Ohman, that. Such an awesome line.

My favourite part of the last episode was the white walker army scene.
I thought something was going to happen to Sam. Cry As soon as I saw he couldn't keep up I just thought 'No! Not Sam!'
He's like a cute puppy. I'm glad he's okay though.

I loved the scene with Daenerys and her Dragons inside that palace and when she saw Drogo and her son. It was nice to see Drogo again one final time.

YESSSSSSSSSS. All the nudity and violence. I was like "Shocked Swoon".

But oh my god. I'm loving this show and I'm only eight episodes in the first season. Drogo is good looking. At first, I thought he was a dick. But man does he prove me wrong.

I hate hate Cersei with a passion. Why, why would she do that to Lady? The poor wolf. I love wolves and seeing one die, urgh. Cry

Oh well. Still love the show. Great shows need good villians. Naughty
