I saw the final episode of the series last night and there's no way I can wait another year until the next series. At least I have the books to keep me occupied - I'm about 100 pages into A Storm of Swords so far, but I know I'll have finished reading them way before the next series starts.

That bit with Maester Luwin and Bran and Rickon was just... Cry It made me so sad!

Oh, and Tyrion and Shae in the final episode was just the cutest moment ever. In Love

The scene with Tyrion and Shae was super cute. I was like "Awh~ Shae you're so kind."
I didn't think Tyrion would cry, because of his demeanor and all that, but it was so touching.

Gah, I wish they would start up the new season quicker.
I was so happy with Dany and her dragons when they escaped, talk about fierce~!
    I love them.

My heart just dropped so far. How dare the Lannisters do that to the previous kings' sons. How dare they. They killed babies. BABIES. What the f*ck, man? Grr

GRRRRR. I'm so sad and mad. The poor mothers. As a father, that just kills my heart. ldkjfldkjfldkjg.

All I was yelling/saying at that time they were murdering slaughtering the babies & children, "WHAT THE F**K, MAN? WHAT THE F**K IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS? WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

Seriously. Cry I hope one day they'll receive justice.

    ------

I can't wait to see Dany and her dragons, ugh. Those dragons are soooo cute. In Love And those direwolves. Ghost, Summer and Grey Wind are so freakin' cute. /dying ~ In Love Swoon
And let me tell ya, Grey Wind is freakin' HUGE. HUGEE. I want one. Happy face

^ I love the wolves too. It made me so sad when Lady died way back in the first series. But Ghost will always be my favourite. Cute

Yeah, that just killed me seeing Lady die. But Ghost is so gorgeous. I cannot wait to see him again. I don't want to wait for the third season. I've seen all the episodes and I'm hooked. lmfao

Only just started reading the books a few months ago after watching the first season on DVD & i'm completely hooked. New favorite fandom. Currently reading A Feast For Crows and yet to watch the second series as I like to watch an entire all at once and refuse to watch it on the web.

Favorite characters; Jon, Rob, Arya, Tyrion, Jaime, Lady Stark, Renly & Daenerys
Hate; Joffrey, Cersei, Tywin, Robert Baratheron, Walder Frey.

@ amaranthine. I would read the books, (maybe not) but I don't like reading aside from Mibba stories and manga, so I'm pretty much stuck. I'm sure I'll be/try to be patience. lmfao

I loved seeing Jaqen H'ghar. The actor that played him was so cute and amazing. I was like "HOW IS HE DOING THAT?" XD I want to see more of him, but they just had to make him remove his face.

I am crazy obsessed. I cannot stop, no matter how hard I try to stop reading fiction and watching the SanSan scenes over and over again. I am on love with both SanSan and AryaXGendry. Mmmm! And I think I am shipping BrienneXJamie too...

I am only on the first book but I have watched the whole show and Gah! It's like meth. I cannot stop!

I love this show so hard. In spring semester there was a girl in my Cultural Anthro class who also loved this show and we would talk about the show before class every class meeting. It got to the point where we would relate what we were learning in class to Game of Thrones. Ah, good times...
Oh and I have the first four books, or had. Some tool stole the first one from the hospital. I'm on the second one now and it's epic.

My addiction to this amazing show knows no bounds. Honestly, I started it a little later than everyone else did. I've read only the first book so far and watched a little more than 3/4 of the first season, but nonetheless, I'm addicted. Truthfully, when I first watched the series, I was kind of appalled by the amount of sex and nudity there (I was seriously watching it like Shocked); however, I think you end up getting used to it, hahaha.

Tyrion is awesome. Dani is absolutely lovely. Arya is a cutie, and so are Robb and Jon. It's sad what happened to Drogo and to Eddard. I'm starting to hate Sansa and Joffrey is recieving the brunt of my hate at the moment. Grrrrrrrr.

Seriously, they are doing so well adapting this to television.

I have to say, I have kind of grown attached to King Joff...I can't help it, it's not really his fault he's messed in the head...

I almost have to disagree with the majority of viewers/readers. I love Cersei. I hate the things she does, but I understand why she does it, she's a very complex character. All she really wants is the best for her children in the end, and I think that will ultimately be her downfall.

Favourite Characters: Dany, Jon, Tyrion, Littlefinger (thou he's a creep), Varys (I have some interesting theories about him), Renly (;;_;;), Bronn and Ser Barristan. Oh, and of course Arya.

Least Favourite Characters: Tywin (although I slightly admire him, even though he's an ass, I get it), Jorah Mormont (book readers will understand why) and Grand Maester Pycelle.

Faction I want to win: Targaryen.
Why: She has fucking dragons, and she's gorgeous and in a strange way, intelligent, although I think it's mainly blind luck that has kept her alive so far.

Most heart breaking moment: Toss up between Red Wedding and Renly's Demise.

I have heaps of thoughts about where GRRM might take this series, if anybody wants to listen or converse about them?

i'm pretty much the same. i read all the books (except ADWD) during the hiatus between season 1 and 2 and fell for them so hard it's absurd. sansa, cersei, and theon are some of my favourites characters too. especially sansa. she's my queen in the north, my little bird.
    Cute

and i prefer show tyrion to book tyrion, mostly becasue D&D give his character this lovable rogue treatment, which is really not how he is in the books. he does horrible things, and is so rarely held accountable for them by the fandom (at least not to the extent that fandom vilifies cersei, mocks sansa, and derides theon as a weak loser) so i'm really disillusioned about his character.

anyway, i enjoyed the premiere but am a little worried about the direction this season could go. oberyn was introduced as some vengeance-obsessed rake, which is at odds with his (superior) portrayal in the books. pedro pascal is wonderful, but as always i'm concerned that D&D are going to miss a lot of opportunities to let oberyn shine by showing his emotional nuance, calm, and dangerous intelligence.

    [contains possible spoilers for 4x03]

i can't be the only one infuriated at what D&D did to jaime's character, can i? last night's episode was hugely disappointing in regards to jaime and cersei. i understand that not every aspect in the book can be nailed in the show. however, a character's, well, character should not be one of those things that's hit or miss. completely altering jaime's character was a bold and unsuccessful move on D&D's part because all it did was infuriate the part of the fandom that has read the books.

I haven't read the books and it infuriated me. I really didn't think that was part of his character at all - he was a different person in that episode.

    @ brienne.angel;

they completely butchered any character development jaime might have made by now turning the audience against him, even if they hate cersei. d&d are giving the audience someone new to hate since joffrey. what's even worse is the effect that scene has on the real world and rape culture as a whole. even the director claimed he was really proud of that scene! i was so angry to read that!
