Yeah, I felt like all of the progress that Jaime had made was just lost completely, and I don't know why they'd do that Sad I think it was just a poorly done scene. It could have been adjusted slightly to make it easier to understand what exactly was supposed to be going on.

Ramsay Snow is a better candidate for the new Joffrey. I already hate him Coffee

I'm really confused and shocked at the fact this thread hasn't been posted in, in almost two weeks. What in the world guys? Shocked

Alright, I've got questions! Well, a question so far. Well, nevermind, make that two, though they're related.

Without spoiling anything (like using stuff from future episodes/books that's supposed to happen to rule characters out), who do you 'think' will be ruler of Westeros and who do you 'want' to be ruler of Westeros. And why.

I think Daenerys will be ruler because she's pretty, intelligent, has dragons and she can apparently kill people (or have them killed) when need be. Plus she's freed tons of slaves...Yay...Rolling Eyes

I think Bran's a strong contender for ruler too.

I want Jon to rule, but maybe not because I can't see him in such a high state of power for whatever reason.

I can also picture some Sansa, Arya, Dany, Margarhey super group, council of rulers too, so that's always possible.

Then there's always the strong possibility that everyone just kills each other and Westeros/The Iron Throne is destroyed. Bittersweet, but memorable and it would make a point. Still tragic though.

Um, so, um, what happened? This hasn't been posted in in almost a year. I also probably shouldn't have revived this thread, but, um, oh well....

GAME OF THRONES HAS LEAKED FOR THE FIRST FOUR EPISODES. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. I'M GOING THROUGH AN EMOTIONAL CRISIS.

I'm sad that this thread is so inactive! I recently started GOT and I'm loving it so far. It's such a good show, and an even better book. I really hope there are more GOT fans here on Mibba Smile

There's actually a GoT club on here. It's more active than this thread, although it's kind of dormant now seeing as the show has ended until next year. But we love new people and I love discussions in that thread about characters and plots and whatnot. Very Happy

I'm not too sure. There's one theory that he told him about how the Tyrells were involved in Joffrey's death. I didn't think that Loras knew, so I don't support that theory.

I was thinking it could be that Margaery is pregnant? Even if she's not. There's only a few things that would motivate Cersei about working with the Tyrells! The problem is that the High Sparrow is always several steps ahead :/

The thing is, Olenna would never work with Cersei. Even when it comes to Margaery. The earlier seasons really highlight that, so the dynamic they're trying to do now is just confusing me. Also I wouldn't think Margaery being pregnant would motivate Cersei into working with them. If Margaery's pregnant with Tommen's child (even if she's actually not), that would mean Cersei is completely of no use, and it'd mean Olenna would have more reason to stay in King's Landing and she's one person who belittles Cersei more than Margaery.

There's another theory that the High Sparrow told Tommen about his real parentage, which makes absolutely no sense because a) how would he know for sure (he obviously knows about the rumours), b) Tommen didn't look disgusted, and c) again, makes no actual sense.

I reckon that Tommen's going to rely more and more on the High Sparrow, and becoming devoted to the Faith.

There's some potential spoilers about the rest of the series that I've read and if they turn out to be true, the King's Landing plot is just utterly terrible. No

OH MY GOSH! Can you please PM me the spoilers? I haven't seen anything about King's Landing really. I've seen a lot of stuff on winteriscoming.net but they haven't talked much about KL.

Also I am CRYING right now for Hodor :(

Will do! Just KL? I've heard about pretty much all except Dany. I found all the links to spoilers through a fanpage on fb which constantly posts spoilers which I'm okay about. Coffee

I KNOW! And Summer. Bran really messed up warging into future Hodor while in the past vision with the younger Hodor/Willas. Cry

(I guess it's to introduce the character that's returning in the next episode, but did they really have to kill Hodor? Sad)

Sidenote: I'm totally waiting for all of the male fans to freak out because of the penis in this past episode and lack of tits (except for Emilia Clarke's) pretty well across the season. I think it just demonstrates the patriarchy is being overthrown and that the women are no longer naked to get power, they're naked because they're powerful? IDK, just a thought.

    @ Mr. Darcy
WAIIIIIT WHO'S RETURNING? Is this cleganebowl hype? Also I totally can't believe that that's what happens in KL. I don't think that there's going to be much more happening with Dany this season. It's seems like Yara is off to go get her, which is good, because I would fear Euron taking control of her *SPOILER* dragons *SPOILER*. I feel like Euron ending up with Dany would be just as bad as Ramsey and Sansa. He would have complete control over her, and it would be up to Daario and Tyrion to save her. Unless she wants to burn him alive again. Regardless, I would looooooove to see Yara and Dany girl power.

    @ losing control.
RIP Hodor, Summer, Blood Raven, and Leaf. Seriously Bran!!! You screwed up. AND NOW WE WILL NEVER SEE THE REST OF THE TOWER OF JOY FLASHBACK? Because I'm pretty sure he needs the weirwood tree for that, and that thing is probably destroyed and unsafe to return to. :(

I'm going to white it out, but it's almost guaranteed that uncle Benjen saves Meera and Bran and takes them to the Wall. Also the young Ned actor does appear in at least one more episode so Bran does have more visions, plus the spoilers I've read say that we do get to go inside the Tower if Joy. Man, I want CleganeBowl but in regards to what I messaged you, we don't get that this series. Although there is a spoiler that The Hound does return. I mean, we didn't see him die which is the best way for a show/book series to bring someone back so it's kind of not even a spoiler. XD I dunno, I don't want all these people siding with Dany because I'm one of the people who believe that Dany is slowly turning into her father and they clearly don't want a mad ruler again. Euron was such a let down from the books but I hope as we see more of him, he improves and we have him sailing to Dany, even though she'll turn him down anyway. XD

Also if you watch the Three Eyed Raven while Bran is in that vision, he knew it had to happen. Bran had to warg into Hodor while still in the vision of the past and it's just heartbreaking watching his face when he realises it. Cry

O MA GAWD IF THAT WHITED OUT THING HAPPENS THAT WOULD BE SO AMAZING!!! Also the Hound was one of my favourite characters (it's a very long list) so if he returns I will be overrun with happiness. Fuck the King. Although he won't really be the Hound anymore just "Sandor".

Dany is crazy, but she'd hate Euron. And if Euron has that horn in the show (which they didn't reveal when he showed up at the Kings Moot), that would be bad news for Dany. We know she'll hate him, that's obvious. But he'd have the ability to steal everything from her with that horn. Honestly though, the guy who plays Euron gave a class act performance. Theon was a bit out of character though. It was nice to see him sticking up for Yara, but maybe too soon?

I'm going to rewatch that episode tonight hopefully! And I will totally watch for that reaction.
