Are there any fashion trends that are really popular but you cant see why and you just despise it?
I apologise if this topic has been done before but I couldn't find one like this so..

The fashion trends I cannot stand are:

    - The scene fashion, I'm not really into the whole clashing, crazy colours and super teased hair.

    - Wearing leggings/jeggings as pants. Most of the time, you can see the person's underwear lines and their camel toe. Wearing it under a long top is okay, but I don't like it when it's teamed up with a normal top.

    - Crocs. Eww. I don't care how comfortable they are, they're gross.

    - T-shirts with stupid slogans on them. I'm talking about slogans like "Yes, I'm a b*tch. No, I don't care." That sort of thing.

    - Denim skirts. Don't ask why. I just don't. I always think of Las Vegas showgirl.

    - Extra high-top Converse. High-top Converse are fine, not the super high ones, though.

    - When people dress head to toe in a brand that is really obvious (Billabong, Roxy, Nike, Adidas), it's like "ARE YOU A WALKING COMMERCIAL OR SOMETHING?" Shocked

I apologise if people like those styles I mentioned above, but it is my opinion.

    What are yours?

Super skinny jeans, I mean super skinny jeans.
    Shirts that have rhinestones.

    - Scene fashion. I'm so happy I grew out of all that.
    - 6 inch heels. Yes, they may be appropriate for certain occasions, but I'm pretty sure high school isn't one of them.
    - Those itty bitty bows people clip into their teased hair.

    - Really tacky clip on extensions, especially neon coloured ones.
    - Anything cable knit. It's just unflattering.
    - Some floral / plaid patterns. They're just super generic sometimes.
    - Leggings worn as pants without a long shirt. Just. . .no.
    - Outfits that are too "matchy." (As in, black shirt, black pants, black shoes. . .)
    - Outfits with an overkill of bold prints.

Haha, oh definitely that one, what are they thinking?

I don't like these flower motives on dresses and tops either, that seems to be the hip new trend around here.

Wearing skinny jeans + converse and/or Ugg boots almost exclusively. It gets boring.
Ugg boots in general, at least the brown ones. Won't deny liking those pink ones.
I'm very picky about floral print.
Those freaking slouchy hat-things that hipsters seem to love.
    Gauges.
    The aforementioned stupid slogan thing.
Outfits comprised solely of dark colours.
    Super-chunky waist belts.

I can't stand the feathers that seem to be in (or were anyways). I don't really mind sandals that much as long as people don't have nasty feet, but gladiator sandals bug the crap outta me. It makes it look like girls have cankales (sp?). Same goes for those boot/sandal things... anyone who wears those need to slap themselves. Facepalm

I'm kind of really annoyed with people getting piercings/gauges because they're "in" now. It's stupid, just because "popular" kids at school have them doesn't mean everyone has to get them. wait

Wearing khaki with denim, e.g. a denim jacket with a khaki skirt or pants.

Like this, but you know, not so runway:

    Image

I don't know if it's a trend or not, but I've seen a lot of girls around school wearing it and a few out in public. I think it's just hideous.

^I wouldn't consider it a trend. tehe Khaki and denim is supposed to be considered "a classic."

That being said, I don't like it all that much either. Shifty

something that used to annoy me is wearing short shirts (like the kind that only cover up to your belly button) and wearing a belt with it. idk how to explain it but pretty much every girl at my school wears that kind of style and I just find it irritating.

I find it amazingly horrible those girls who wear like leggings and then a long shirt like it's a dress, that barely covers their asses and then they put a motherf*cking belt on top of the shirt, just for show, like they don't even NEED IT. And it's usually an ugly-ass gigantic belt, to top it all off. Like, seriously? D'you seriously find that sexy? ._.

When short-shorts have the pockets hanging out of them. It just looks weird!
