I wanted to do a theme around those lyrics because they have gained a new relevance to me. Some of my friends and I recently were in a car accident. Afterward, we sort of agreed it was a strange, but intense bonding experience that changed our brains in ways that only the 5 of us could fully understand, which, being us, made us decide that meant we were a gang now. My best friend and I named us The Car Crash Hearts because we are FOB obsessives.
