Same but, there's not a better type of weather. I am so horrendously bad at mental arithmetic that I actually have to count up stupid sums like 4+3 on my fingers because my brain won't compute it properly. Ask me to work out the time signature of a song, though, and I'll have that to you in a jiffy.
@ OceansBlue Do people, for real, say this? Oh my god, such bullshit. Everything I have posted here was written because I was in a certain mood that pushed me along to write it. Fuck those old fashioned ideas - vibe is important and imo you can't be a good artist/writer if you don't feel good vibes towards the piece you're creating, otherwise you just grow to resent it. Use those moods, lovely!I get oddly poetic past midnight. Something about my writing just amplifies and I use better words and my sentence structure is much better. I don't know if being a night owl tunes into my creativity, but it's almost like I'm being controlled in a completely different way. I don't know how to explain it, it just happens.
@ OceansBlue Ditto! Honestly, if I'm in a bad mood, I can't write or do anything. When I'm happy, or watching something really good, or listening to a really good album, that's when I get most inspired!I have to listen to music to fall asleep at night. I plug my ear buds in, turn on a random station on Pandora, and fall asleep. I can't sleep without some sort of noise.
