I love the "Needs to be 20% cooler" sig. I am totally diggin' it. My obsession is the sea monster from the first episode (Elements of Harmony Part I). "Ooh my mustache!" literally makes me shiz myself (shit and jizz and the same time). Oh, and I want to elope with Fluttershy and marry her.

I think my boyfriend said Fluttershy was his favorite pony. Mine might be Pinkie Pie; she's just so random and lulzy. Although, each pony brings something good to the table, which is one of my favorite things about the show.

Yeah, I've watched more now, and I'm a little more into things. I don't think I have a favorite pony. How can I choose? XD

(Unless I can pick Doctor Whooves, but that is obviously motivated by an entirely different obsession of my life.)

Has anyone else downloaded the new iOS game they released? If you're interested, it's a free game available in the app store for iPhones, iPads, and iPods. I've been hearing they're going to release it on Android soon as well but I don't actually know when. It's so cute and fun, I love it. It's not the RPG-style game I was hoping for, but a city building game works too until we can break Hasbro down enough to where they'll give us an RPG-style one. Shifty The graphics are pretty good, though some of the ponies look a bit distorted at times.

The game has a lot of fan-influenced things in it, like how Ditzy Doo was kept as a "find Waldo" character in the game (she's also a clumsy pony like the fans made her) and some ponies kept their fan names. Though some ponies retained their "official" names, like Vinyl Scratch is DJ Pon-3 and Doctor Whooves is Time Turner. But ponies like Octavia and Lyra Heartstrings were allowed to keep their fan given names. I think it's awesome how much Hasbro and Gameloft let fans influence the game, it makes it a lot better in my opinion.

Here's a screen shot I took of my game just so you can see what it looks like, Lyra cost so many gems but she was well worth it. It's basically just your basic city building game but with ponies:

Also, I finally found myself a Lyra toy and I love her. Crazy Still on a hunt for a Ditzy Doo toy....

^There was a Derpy (sorry, refuse to call her by her official name, the whole thing just irks me.) toy at one point. I've never seen it in person, but I know it's a legitimate thing. You might only be able to find it online now though.

I looked at it and it seems like the only Ditzy Doo toy Hasbro has made was an SDCC Fair exclusive, so it's only selling online for around $200. There is no way in hell I'll ever be able to afford that and frankly, it's just not worth it. I'm just kind of hoping Hasbro will release a regular Ditzy toy at some point, even though I know how unlikely that is. Ever since people felt the need to raise such a fit over Ditzy's fan name, Hasbro seems to be hiding her away from the public eye a lot. I'm glad they didn't scrap her like they originally planned to, but I wish they'd stop acting so ashamed of Ditzy and put her back into the episodes and give her a toy regular fans can afford. Ditzy has always been one of my favorite ponies, she deserves more screen time than she's been getting lately. I really hope season 3 has some of her in it at least. I haven't seen her so far in any of the episodes.

I just call her Ditzy because personally, I think her official name is a lot better than the ones fans gave her. Her fan name is not this fanbase's best creation in my opinion.

My boyfriend is a huge brony, and sadly, I am not as big a fan as he is. I like the show, but I think I need to see more to like it more since it is a good show.

Her name actually was Derpy in one canon episode. It was later edited out and her name was reverted to the name they originally had assigned her which is Ditzy. Personally I like Derpy better because I like the interactive aspect of a fan name becoming canon and also I love memes. (Just in case you don't follow or like memes, "derp" is a meme.) She's still a background pony, I think, but yeah...they seem to be hiding her away a lot more now due to the controversy. It sucks. Confused

My favorite background pony is Doctor Whooves though. Con

Yeah, I remember that. Her name was originally Ditzy Doo but the script writers were told to change it to Derpy Hooves as a "tip of the hat" to the fans. I think that's one of the things I love most about this show, how often the creators of it let us influence the show. It may be little things like pony names or characteristics, but it's really cool that fans have so much control over the ponies when fans usually are given no control in a show.

I kind of wish they had made Doctor Whooves a canon name, but I can see why they changed it. They probably would have run into complications with copyright if they didn't. I kind of like that little romance idea people have started between Ditzy and Doctor Whooves. The smart time traveler and the silly mail carrier. It's adorable. tehe

Yeah, I really love that about the show. I think it's a great concept that shows can have a certain degree of interactivity between fans and creators; I love that the show runners and writers actually listen to the fandom.

Yeah, I want Doctor Whooves to be his canon name so badly, but I know why it can't be. I don't wanna call him anything else though; I'll just consider Time Turner to be like an alias. XD I don't ship Derpy with him though. I like the idea of them being friends though.

Time Turner is such a beyond cheesy name, but I like it because it is so cheesy. xD

I don't ship the ponies either, I actually find it a little weird. I don't know, I guess I just can't ever imagine writing (or reading for that matter) a romance between animals. XD The friendship fics are fun to read though. c: Some of the horror fics like Cupcakes can be interesting as well. I just think the idea of the smart and silly characters being in a little romance is kind of adorable, but I'm still not too fond of pony ships. It's just a teensy bit weird to me.

I'm not a Bronie. . .because I'm a chick. But I totally love this show! It's probably the best thing on TV right now, except for Game of Thrones that is.

Clap Heck yes! Fandom, ftw! I love your theme, by the way.

So, has anyone else been watching season three? My husband and I have been watching it online quite a bit lately, but we still aren't caught up. What do you guys think of it though?
