Season three is pretty good so far. The Pinkie episode was hilarious.

Which one? The one with all the Pinkies? That one was great! I loved when they were all being tested to see which one was the real Pinkie and one of the Pinkies made her face look like past generations pony style.

Yeah, I've heard good and bad reactions to the whole alicorn thing. I'm trying to reserve my judgment one way or the other until I see it.

OMG yes. My husband and I lost our shit when that part happened. It was a really great episode, definitely my favorite Pinkie-centered episode ever.

It's hard to chose the best Pinkie-centered episode, but I think you're right.

I watched it as well. ^^ I personally loved the episode. I did feel it was a bit rushed, but I also think it was still really heartfelt and carried a lot of emotion. Kind of wish it would have been a two-part season finale though or at least an hour long one so it wouldn't have felt as rushed as it did.

I like Twilight as an Alicorn, I just hope she won't be leaving Ponyville or any of her friends permanently in Season 4, that's the only way I'd ever dislike Alicorn Twilight. I like the MLP fanbase overreacted way too much to Alicorn Twilight, most of the people hating on her probably ended up watching the episode and falling in love with her. Never fails, this fanbase always overreacts to things, watches the episode, and then proceeds to love said episode. People will probably watch Equestria Girls and like it too. Though I can admit Equestria Girls seems really.... Not good to put it nicely from what I know about it. But I guess it is far too soon to make a judgement on Equestria Girls when we know little about it. Point is, I like Alicorn Twilight and I'm looking forward to Season 4. Which I hope comes very soon.

By the way, anyone else spot Ditzy Doo numerous times in the episode? She's back and I hope that means Hasbro won't try to get rid of her again. I really hope she's in Season 4 a lot more than she was in Season 3.... Which was only one episode and that was the finale.

I liked it too, but I did feel it was badly rushed. I felt that so much was thrown at me in those 21 minutes, which really is a shame because I really loved the concept of the overall episode. The 4 songs that stuck out to me in that episode were great as well, but my favourite had to be Find a Way. So much emotion, and the animation it accompanied really tugged at my heartstrings :')
As for Alicorn Twilight, while I don't hate or dislike her, I don't necessarily like her yet. I think my problems with her have to do with the pacing of this episode because it just happened so fast and I have so many questions about it. But I won't let it bother me, assuming that my questions (or at least some of them) will be answered in season 4.
I did!!! ^.^ I was just like "OMG I missed you! :'D" I'm taking it as a sign that she will be back.

Find a Way has quickly become my favorite song in the series. I love how much emotion is in it and how heartfelt it is. Twilight's voice actress does a really good job on the song.... It is her voice actress who sings it, right? I've heard that the actual Find a Way track is longer than the minute we heard in the finale. If it really is, I hope the full thing is released soon because I'd love to hear it.

I think the best thing about Alicorn Twilight is that the mystery book in the first episode was finally answered. I've been wondering what that book was about and what Celestia meant by Twilight was almost ready for all season.

It isn't Tara Strong who does her singing voice, but that voice actress (forgot her name :S) does sound amazing ^.^

I agree, I was looking forward to that all season. It's just a shame they only spent a 1-2 minute flashback to cover it.

Also, does anyone watch the pony.mov series on youtube? I'm so excited because SWAG.MOV's finally out ^.^ I was actually anticipating this more than the finale of S3 :3

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG. The first true fan-made episode of MLP, Double Rainboom, just came out. It's easily one of the best episodes I've ever seen (and it wasn't even made by the original team). It's a total fanservice for all of Lauren Faust's work, and I almost giggled myself to tears at how much love and effort was put into this.

Do you guys know what this means? It means that as long as the proper channels are gone through, the show still has the ability to go on through fan works like this. It's a full 29-minute episode, and it's worth it to pay attention to EVERY SECOND because of all of the references.

Has anyone been able to see the new MLP movie, Equestria Girls, yet? I was out of town the other day, and I was able to see it at one of the theatres it was playing in. It was pretty good. It had some hits and misses, but I enjoyed it for what it's worth.

I really want to see it, but there are no theaters in my area that are playing it. I don't even have The Hub so I also can't see it when it airs in August. It's so unfair. I'm glad you enjoyed it though! It seems like the majority of people are enjoying the movie. And everyone raised such a snit all for nothing, this fanbase really needs to learn to stop judging things before we watch them.

I was just lucky because I happened to be in the right place at the right time (and surrounded by the right people); it's not playing in my area either.
By the way, the whole movie's here if you want to see it. It's theatre quality though, but it's still watchable.
