If you've read Divergent, you can add it to your Mibba booklist here.
    Cover flap:
In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue -- Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is -- she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.

During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris and struggles to determine who her friends really are -- and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes infuriating boy fits into the life she's chosen. But Tris also has a secret, one she's kept hidden from everyone because she's been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers a growing conflict that threatens to unravel her seemingly perfect society, she also learns that her secret might help her save those she loves...or it might destroy her.

Debut author Veronica Roth bursts onto the literary scene with the first book in the Divergent series -- dystopian thrillers filled with electrifying decisions, heartbreaking betrayals, stunning consequences, and unexpected romance.
So here's an interesting tidbit that I'm sure most if not all Mibbians will adore: this 487 page book was written primarily over the period of Winter Break while Veronica Roth went to school at Northwestern University.

This book is FREAKING AMAZING and I recommend it to everyone. This is a very likeable book regardless of what your usual genre is. I sincerely hope that it becomes a movie very soon because it's bad@ss.

    I. Freaking. Love. This. Book.
I want a sequel! I've heard she's going to have one, but I'm not one hundred percent sure. I honestly hope so.

A trilogy has been confirmed, actually.
The next book is called "Insurgent" and will be out early-to-mid 2012, I believe.

On another note... Divergent is fantastic. It's been compared to The Hunger Games a lot, and while I didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoyed THG, it is definitely worth reading.

Oh, my God. I read this book in three days, and I couldn't put it down. It was so alluring, and it was so... Gah, I don't know. Interesting? It doesn't quite describe how the plot went. I love it. So, so, so much. <3

And of course, I took an intense and automatic attraction towards Four. Not only is he described as cute, he's got the personality to match it. I just... I want more Four, more! <3

This book is amazing and I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has read this fantastic piece of literature. I can't even. Alslcjdlamdoc.

    Who's read Insurgent?

I read it in two days and I'm hopelessly in love with the way it turned out. I'd love to discuss the book with somebody who's read it!
