Firefighting

Any other volunteer or paid firefighters or EMTs on the board? I've been volunteering for two years now, and I honestly love it. Especially wrecks and medical calls.

I am not one myself, but my dad does firefighting for a career.
He likes it, but it is just one of those jobs that can take a toll on your body. He has done it since he was 21 I think... so for about 15 or 16 years. He's usually pretty tired when he gets home.
He used to be a paramedic, went to an engineer, and is going to be captain when they finally start promoting people, which will be soon.

Oh Lord. I know you posted this a year ago but I was so happy to find this. I'm currently in Fire/EMR/First Responder training, I'm going to EMT school this fall semester, and my plan is to be a firefighter-paramedic by my late 20s hopefully :))) so since you posted this, are you still working a volunteer house or have you moved around somewhere? :) my names Anna by the way
