Jennifer Rostock is a German electro/punk/pop group from Berlin, and consists of singer Jennifer Weist, guitarist Alex Voigt, bassist Christoph Deckert, drummer Christopher "Baku" Kohl, and keyboardist Johannes "Joe" Walter. So far, they have three albums in four years: Ins offene Messer (Into the Trap), Der Film (The Film), and, released at the end of July, Mit Haut und Haar (Body and Soul). They also have quite a few singles.
Last night, they competed for their province (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) in the Bundesvision Song Contest 2011 with their new song "Ich kann nicht mehr" (I Can't [Take It] Any More). [BuViSoCo is Germany's version of the Eurovision Song Contest (a music competition between the countries in Europe; BuViSoCo is between the provinces).] In 2008, they competed with their song
