It seems 1D has a "routine" of releasing their songs. I'd bet that the next single will be more upbeat. Take a hint from the first album:

Up All Night
- WMYB (summer-feel-good song)
- Gotta Be You (slow, romantic song)
- One Thing (slightly more upbeat song)

Take Me Home
- LWWY (summer-feel-good song)
- Little Things (slow, acoustic romance song)
- ???

See the pattern?

You're welcome! Apparently, there's also an "order" in which each of them sing their solos. Usually Liam will start the song, followed by Harry singing the bridge, then Zayn, Niall and lastly, Louis. Most of the songs will be in this "order", however there are some exceptions such as I Want and Little Things. I think there could be a few more, but didn't really pay too much attention to it. Gawd, this is what happens when you keep listening to 1D on repeat mode.

As much as I adore Louis and all of his sassy glory, I have to admit that he's the weakest singer among the five of them, but I would not go as far as to critique him, because the lad can sing. Just that his vocal's ain't strong unlike Liam or Harry's. But his voice does have some kind of charm which makes me go, "Awwww..."

Um. Harry's voice in Little Things. fans self. He isn't even that cute to me, but his voice omfg. I never said that.

^ Apparently, Harry's huskiness went over an octave in Little Things. He does sound extra smexy.

and of course it was written by Ed : ] I can always tell when its an Ed Sheeran song, even if I didn't know it was written by him at first. (moments and little things)

This might be a result of having little-to-no time to myself over the past couple of months, but I haven't listened to 1D in a while... like, a loooong while. And I think that might be the reason I find myself falling a little out of place with the boys. I haven't really bothered to listen to Little Things and I've probably only heard LWWY twice.

I guess I'm just the result of finding new kinds of music I really enjoy (...including Conor Oberst and Bright Eyes. ).

As for my AU story though, as I saw Adida mentioned, once I get back with my writing I will update it (prolly because it's not a romance-themed fic) .

But I think that's my last One Direction fic.

Eversince the lads went on a tattoo frenzy (Niall excluded, bless his soul), a part of me... Died. I mean, I don't mind them wanting to decorate their bodies, but the things that were being inked were simply... Ridiculous. *sighs*

I can't relate much to Little Things. Yes, I admit that it's such a beautiful song, but I prefer their uptempo beats instead. :/

I can fathom Liam's meaningful quote tatt, but I can't accept Louis' stickman-on-a-skateboard tatt. I. Just. Can't. It's as bad as Harry's.

I haven't heard the full thing but I did hear Rock Me and They Don't Know... besides the two singles already released. I'm excited for it.
