My Chemical Romance: Number 15

I'm not a huge fan of Conventional Weapons 2. Ambulance and Gun are both kind of boring to me, but Ambulance seems to be a little bit better than Gun. Gun...just ugh, that song is a travesty.

I love all the songs so far but Gun is the only one that has the magic of MCR for me. All the others are great listening but I don't hear the spark that makes MCR special in them. They definitely don't touch Danger Days but that was to be expected.

I'm in love with Ambulance :) the beginning reminds me of a Queen song.

I hated Danger Days with every fiber of my being, and it actually caused me to stop listening to MCR completely. But hearing a couple of songs off Conventional Weapons, and I have to say I am hooked. I am listening to them again, and getting back into my writing, which also seemed to suffer when I stopped listening to them. I can't wait to get paid so I can get the CD. It will be the first MCR CD I purchased since THe Black Parade ^.^

Same here! Everything you said is exactly where I'm at, haha. I actually haven't listened to anything off Conventional Weapons yet, but you've made me think twice about that decision. I hope I can get back into them, I used to be obsessed with this guys.

I don't know what gives me more feels, the studio version of The World is Ugly ( ) or The Light Behind Your Eyes. jghdjhgdjhgd they're just beautiful and god I'm back in my fully fledge love with the boys.

I'm not sure if I want to rant about all humans making mistakes or how much of a dick move it is to cheat on your spouse. Up until an hour ago I didn't even know what was happening. When did all of this happen? :|

From what I recall, it exploded last night? That's when it hit Tumblr anyway.

Apparently, from what I hear, it only came to light last night when fans were apologising to Alicia via Twitter about the pictures they saw? I was asleep so I don't know, but it's what I heard.

During the course of the day I've heard: Alicia and Mikey were already getting a divorce, they were already divorced, they were having problems in their relationship, the relationship with Sarah wasn't a secret and Gerard knew all about it. No clue what to believe.

But it truly is silly Mikey.

The only reason I don't fully believe half of those is because of Alicia and Lyn-Z's twitters last night. Alicia posted "devastated" right before locking her twitter account. Then for the remainder of the night, Alicia kept getting "we support you/we love you" tweets, and Lyn-Z was on the passive aggressive warpath. So I get the feeling that Alicia was blindsided.

I get that feeling, too. But Lyn-Z was on a passive aggressive warpath? I only saw her comment to Alicia so I'm assuming there's something else?

Yeah, she would make these "cryptic" tweets about being someone being "sloppy", how "disgusted" she was, and all these really scathing remarks that anybody with two eyes could make the connection with. However, she didn't stick by her words and would literally delete the tweets moments later. Fans (such a weird word to use here) were still able to screencap them though.

ohai i'm back. can't say for how long but real life took over for a bit now that I'm back in school.

I remember a couple years ago, when The World is Ugly came out in its rough, live form, I got the mp3 of it on my ipod.
And I was in this parking lot, all alone, having the roughest time, and then I found it. It was so great.

I THINK Alicia was blindsided - even if they were divorced & he was dating, she didn't seem like someone who knew. Lyn-Z's passive aggressive tweets are pretty awesome, even if she does delete them afterwards!!
It's weird because they were tweeting about how all of them had spent Christmas together last month, yet all of these photos & tweets from Mikey's new SO (significant other) are dated 3 weeks ago. One of him & her "boobtiming" was dated four weeks ago.
There's a Tumblr site called NoWayMikeyWay that has all the photos & things on it, if anyone's interested.
Even BOB commented on it all via Twitter - that speaks volumes haha.
I just hope this doesn't affect the band more than it has to. They were recording an album & Conventional Weapons rocked...I know it's selfish but I want MCR back.

This is just from some anon on tumblr but it's kind of an unsettling thought.

"I work around where Mikey lives and I've seen him frequently over the past few years &sometimes Gerard. one of my coworkers used to be close with them & I know of a lot more shady shit going on than just cheating. from what I know Gerard is/has been back on drugs for a while now, and the band has been silently broken up due to issues with the Way bros and Frank/Ray. Gerard's marriage isn't so great, either. He's become a deadbeat but [that] isn't surprising after you've heard about his drug use again.

It's just a disturbing thought because even though I'm not really into the Rmy anymore, I still like the band a lot and all of this is really scaring me.

^ That is a very unsettling thought, but then again, it's posted by an "anon" on Tumblr, and while I don't use Tumblr, I know how crazy people can be (I'm a huge Avenged Sevenfold fan for crying out loud, so I know how crazy fanbases can be...)

Anywho, onto the point I came here to post. I've ran into people on Facebook talking about how it's Mikey's personal life, he can do what he wants, stuff like that. Which is all fine and dandy, and totally true. It is his life, but here is my own personal take on this situation....if it is indeed true...which there is pretty solid evidence that something shady has happened.

If this is whole cheating scandal is indeed true, then, well...the bottom line is that he CHEATED. I could care less that hes famous. Cheating is wrong regardless of what kind of person you are: rock star, movie star, or an everyday blue-collar working person. Now me being someone who has been cheated on THREE times, I know firsthand how hurtful, heartbreaking, and devastating it is. It doesnt matter who you are, you just dont do it. If you fall out of love with your s/o, then you fall out of love, it happens, it's part of human nature. But if you fall out of love with somebody, talk to them and get a divorce/breakup, don't go behind their back and hurt them with lies and cheating. It just makes you look like such a horrible person.
