If I was obsessed with MCR like I used to be, I'd probably be in tears right now. However, I am pretty sad and in shock of what I Just heard in the last 10 minutes.

Me and my best friend are heaps sad over their break up. She's crying and I'm not though XD

Just found out about the break up about an hour ago. It was like I got punched in the stomach. I may not have listened to them as much as I used too but I still love them. And they still helped me get through a lot of things years ago.

I honestly don't know what to feel right now. Someone mentioned that when they were releasing Conventional Weapons, Frank had previously stated that they'd only release them at the end of their career.

Well...now I guess they did.

I'm heart broken. I wonder what caused them to break up. I thought they were working on MCR5.

Is it bad that when the whole Mikey scandal went down I felt this coming? I know it's a horrible thought, but please tell me I'm not the only one who felt that way.

I saw it too, but then i thought "they have a new album coming, they wont break up."
I kinda feel bad saying this but i have a hunch Mikey is to blame for this (just a little bit).

I know I haven't been here for a long long time but I just wanted to thank all of you guys that are long-timers here, especially those of you who were around during the build-up to Danger Days and made it a truly thrilling and exciting experience. You guys are rad! Thank you for making Danger Days 56546x the experience it otherwise would have been.

Seconded so hard. I've only been a fan since the DD era, and you guys were all just so awesome and welcoming and wonderful, and I didn't know how good I had it until I started seeing the "bad side" of the fandom on other websites, so to speak.

They broke up yesterday, I still can't believe it. I left Mibba a year ago after being here for three years, but I came back to pay homage.

I haven't been on here in God knows how long, but since I'd always had such a great time talking to all you fellow MCR fans in this thread, I felt this was an appropriate time to come back, just to say goodbye really I guess. to you all. <3

I really hope this turns out to be an over long break so they can get their shit together. I love these guys like I've known them my whole life, I love them as a band and as people. I'm really upset right now and feel like a huge piece of me just died.

You're not. When that went down, I heard some other rumors going on too, and I could just feel it coming. =/ I kinda have felt it coming for a long time now, because after The Black Parade era fizzled out, they sort of fell off the radar, and didn't even really hype back up when Danger Days came out, so even since Danger Days, I just felt it coming. I wish I had gotten to see them live one more time (only got to see them twice in 2007) before they called it quits.

As much as I hate to say it, I kinda felt that too. I pushed it away because MCR5 was still to come, they had a studio built and had just released some of their best songs ever. As much as I did see it in the future, it was still a shock for it to be now. They said goodbye in six sentences. Goodbye to 12 years in six mere sentences.

Danger Days era on the thread was brilliant. I lurked for 90% of the time, but you guys made that lurking so much better than it would have been.

You've been gone for so long! It's a shame that it's the news of them breaking up that brought you back.

I, too, felt it coming even though I didn't want to feel that. The thought just left a really sour taste in my mouth. It felt like you knew somebody you loved dearly was dying, but you were in such denial that you thought they were strong, that they would pull through, and everything would be a-okay in the end. I guess not.
