I didn't know this thread existed, but I'm a killjoy. I've been a fan of them since I was sixteen. So, I was really upset when they broke up. :( I just got their greatest hits album. The sad part is that I never even got to see them live, and now I never will. ;o;

I used to love these guys. Stopped liking them a year or so ago. Still binge-listen to Danger Days fairly often though.

I've been a fan since Revenge was released but I haven't listened to them since Danger Days was. The breakup was no surprise to me though. They had a nice run.

I love this band oh-so-much, still do, and I always go a certain amount of time without listening to them - a month or two? - so when I hear the songs again, they sound a million times better. I was upset when the band broke up, but honestly, I sorta saw it coming. Still hurt a lot, though. Thankfully, their music remains with me, all of us, and it never stops being fab.

Ah, MCR. Beautiful band, for sure.

I've been a fan since the first time I heard them. 'Venom' was on a mix cd from kerrang magazine, and I fell in love with them within seconds. That was nine years ago, and I'm still a huge fan, even though they're disbanded now. Their music was there for all my big moments, like going to college and becoming an adult, first love, and first heartbreak, so I suppose it's not surprising I still count them as my favourite band. I was on my way into work when I heard the news, my friends actually rang me and sent me texts to make sure I was okay, even though at the time I was a twenty five year old adult. It wasn't a complete surprise though, I kinda expected it when they were releasing conventional weapons the way they did. I still hold out hope they'll get back together one day, not necessarily anytime soon, but maybe once they all get to their own stuff for a while. Maybe that's a bit naive, but I'd like to think I'll get to see them live at least one more time before I die.

Gerard is supposed to be making an announcement sometime this month. Plus Mikey released Electric Century's album, and I've been hearing that Gerard is going to be a guest on Andy Biersack's solo album.

Have any of you seen the video that was posted??? Could it be that MCR is making a come-back??

I came onto all the old sites, here, MCRmy and IMO just to see everyone's reactions!

I'm cautiously excited, I think it'll just be a rerelease though

Still exciting but a reunion would be 100 times more exciting.

i saw the hype everyone was starting right before i was preparing to leave the house and shamelessly went back upstairs to change into my mcr tee.

i would lose my mind if it were a comeback they were planning. i'm gonna try and save up a little money just in case it is some kind've rerelease or something, and i'm trying not to let myself get too ahead of myself but i'm also failing because the thought of them coming back to us is too good for me to throw away. i'm painfully optimistic, okay.

I've heard from a lot of people that it'll be a vinyl release, but nothing has been said. I really want to see them tour again for the 10 year BP anniversary; it'd make me really happy to actually see them live.

I'm also super optimistic. I just want to see them back together, which is selfish, but I HAVE NEEDS.
