For all those words that send a shiver down your spine.
    -----------
Personally, I hate moist. What an awful word. And member when referring to a penis File

I despise the word 'passion.' It's overused to where it doesn't really do anything. It has become a useless word.

Moist is obviously the worst word in the English language. Oddly enough I think my distaste for it rubbed off on the words panties (a word I didn't use to hate), but after seeing the two words paired together in thousands of smutty scenes, I changed my mind.

Yolk, pulp, slurp, jowls, and kumquat also terrible.

The first word that came to mind was "moist." It makes me think of moist towelettes, and usually whenever I see it, it's being used to describe how turned on a girl is, and it just doesn't fit to me XD

Pussy. I cannot stand that word, and a lot of the music I listen to uses it, so every time I hear it, I just cringe inside.

Words used in smut to describe parts of human anatomy that sound like they were ripped from a textbook (prostate, penis, vagina, testicles, anus, clitoris, etc). They tend to sort of stick out like a sore thumb to me whenever I'm reading something.

Ugly. I don't like it when the author describes something/someone as "ugly" without giving any reasons why it's ugly.

^ Is that why you write slash? XD

uh...I pretty much hate the word "tummy" it's just awkward and goofy in a way that actually annoys me. I know there are other words I don't care for, but I can't think of any...

I love saying the word vagina and using it in real life situations, though I hate seeing it in stories - particularly in sex scenes.

    Vagina.

    ---

I hate the word ministrations and I see it written in nearly every M/NC-17 story.

I love vagina and it's synonyms when speaking. But for sex scenes? Nasty in the wrong way.

I can't stand the word nipple. I won't say it out loud and it made me cringe even thinking it. Yuck.

Okay, mine really isn't any specific word, but if an author uses a word to many times then that's when I start to hate the word. An example would be Stephen King's "Eyes of the Dragon. He uses the word "flabbergasted" like twenty thousand times, which made me want to throw the book at a wall!

I agree with everyone's hatred of the word 'moist.' It's got to be one of the worst words ever.

I also hate the word 'utter'/'utterly'. And the word 'pleasant.' Even though it's supposed to mean nice things, it's just not a nice word.

    Arousing. Aroused. Arousal etc.

Partly because I was reading a book one day and this sentence came out of nowhere:
"THE SIGHT OF THEIR AROUSAL WAS AROUSING"
But mostly because its so over used and I've just always hated how it sounds.

friggin--just say the word. Also, I don't like it when a character says something like "oh, jellybeans" unless they're the type of character that would actually say that.

"cunt," and "pussy." First one makes me mad (usually) and the other makes me squirm in a rather unpleasant way. I've never been fond of either. I also don't much like the word fudge. Fudge itself is yummylicious, but the word fudge has always sounded so gross to me.

I've noticed that a lot of the words people here are saying just amuse me. Haha.

"Moist" isn't so bad unless it's describing lady parts. XD and even then I can deal, it's just whyyyy. Just say wet! damn it!
I don't care for the word "pussy" either; it's not sexy at all and it's just sorta, I dunno, uncomfortable and/or silly. Then again, I'm a hypocrite thought because I know how to say "pussy" in spanish and I dont' mind it then! (well, it sounds a bit better okay?!)
Um...I had an example that had nothing to do with vaginas and now I've forgotten it. Shifty

I'm guilty of quite a few of these in the story I'm writing.. except moist, because I hate that too.. Mostly ugly and pleasant, and when occasion calls for it, utter, grimace, tickle, and plop.

I don't like irk, or sex. Irksome and sexual are okay, but some words just don't make me happy when they're all alone like that.

There's one that's conditional. Waist. If proper, that's good, but if you say waist when the place on the body you're talking about is the hips, I find it.. well, irksome.

Pop, I hate. I use the word soda. And instead of bathroom, I prefer washroom, and precisely rather than exactly. *shrug* other people can use bathroom and exactly, and I'll be okay with it, I guess. But not pop. Pop is stupid.
